delivery of the fabric itself was spot on — quick, neat package, no drama — and after a nudge the support team did get back and gave useful pointers that actually fixed the problem. Now I wear the finished piece loads, it’s comfy for work and weekends, and I’m quietly pleased I stuck with it. So mixed experience, but glad in the end.
Almost right, then finally good
delays, mix‑ups, whatever. Ten days later I chased them and was told the parcel would arrive in two days. When it did, the first box was a poor show: two separate cuts, each over three yards, badly creased and with small holes — looked like someone had shoved them in a bin. The customer service exchange was slow and repetitive, not brilliant. But the turning point came when I pushed hard: they logged the complaint, arranged a replacement and issued a partial refund. The next parcel actually arrived properly packed and the Italian matte jersey looked as expected — decent weight, colour matched photos, no damage. So, not flawless and I’ve had better care from smaller fabric houses, but that moment when the replacement was unwrapped is when I knew I was satisfied. Could be smoother, but happy enough that they put it right.
Half a yard, half a story
the same fabric was showing as in stock on their site, plenty of yardage, yet I was told this was the last usable piece. Either it’s an inventory error or the policy is tighter than they let on. I understand small flaws happen, and normally I’d be flexible, but this is duchess satin — it needs to be flawless for a tailored job and I was cutting it fine timewise, so I had to source elsewhere. The person I spoke to was polite, yes, but the outcome felt inflexible; no better credit, no partial refund, no useful workaround. If you’re buying scarce, expensive cuts from them, get photos before they ship and be prepared to push for a fairer adjustment. I still like the selection they carry, which is why this felt so disappointing, but after this experience my trust is dented and I’ll think twice next time.
