All in all, totally worth it — they properly saved prom. We were in full-on scramble when I remembered, mid-week, that my teenage daughter (she’s nearly six foot and stubbornly lives in trainers) needed proper heels in a size 14. A friend tipped me about OnlyMaker on Instagram and I thought, why not. Their range was surprisingly huge, I mean, I scrolled and scrolled. Ordered easily, customer service answered my email in a few hours which was a relief, and the shoes looked perfect with her Vera dress — she came out of her room like royalty, honestly. Fair price, quick delivery, and very glad we went with them. I'll definitely recommend them to other parents.
Honest but flawed
I do like the shoes, but the refund saga left a bad taste. They look good and fit well, so that part worked out. The order was wrong and they said the item was damaged, yet it was just two tiny factory blemishes on the sole — hardly anything. They owed me $41.99, refunded $36.99 and I paid $15 shipping. They asked me to close the dispute promising a full refund, I closed it and then they sent less. I didn’t damage them, I didn’t. Customer contact was slow and a bit confusing. Delivery was fine though, and overall not a total disaster.
Friend’s tip, then a drag
I remember opening the tracking email and thinking, that’s fine — then ten days later it said returned to sender. I’d seen them on Instagram after a mate flagged the brand, and ordered a pair in November because they looked decent. I emailed OnlyMaker the same day the courier logged the return, but since then it’s been mostly silence or vague replies. It’s been about 60 days and there’s still no refund for an item I never had. The website itself has careless typos which doesn’t help confidence. Delivery and the courier updates were the worst part; customer service seemed slow and unhelpful. Not terrible in concept, but handled poorly.
Wedding shoe gamble, mostly worth it
comfy straight away, decent build and something I could wear all day without complaining. The other looked promising online but simply wasn't my vibe. I rang customer service, messaged, whatever, and they were helpful and speedy; they even let me return the unused pair late once I showed proof it hadn't been worn. That was a relief, really. The gripe is money. I paid 64.99 for the shoes, then £13.75 to post them back with no return label provided, and only received 51.99 back. So I ended up paying a fair sum just to try them on. Glad the good pair exists though.
Keeper on the dancefloor
one pair had a tiny squeak and the leather creased sooner than I’d like, but honestly it didn’t spoil the night. Bought eleven pairs so far and I’ll probably get more; that moment on the dancefloor sold me.
