    Misleading GPU claim

Don't buy it — it simply doesn't do what's shown on their site. I paid for a lifetime licence expecting GPU-accelerated cracking from the screenshots, but the version I got only runs on CPU and crawls. On my high-end rig it was about 100 times slower than other tools I've used, so it was effectively useless for big files. I asked for a refund within an hour under their 30-day policy and support refused, saying the software "works as designed", which felt wrong. If you rely on GPU acceleration, look elsewhere — it's a shame because the interface is OK and I really wanted it to work. I usually have better experiences with other vendors, so I can't recommend this one.

    Middle-of-the-road refund saga

a suggestion, me trying it, no luck, them suggesting something else a day or two later. After three or four of those cycles I was losing patience. I asked for a refund within a few hours of buying, pointing to their 30‑day guarantee, but instead of a straightforward refund they kept pushing more troubleshooting and, eventually, cross-selling other products.
At some point I gave up on the device itself — it wasn’t worth more time — and told them I couldn’t continue testing because I’d disposed of the tablet. They came back with an offer of 30% refund, which felt odd given my quick request. We went back and forth a bit more and they increased it to 50%. I accepted just to stop the faff. I don’t know why the software didn’t work for that particular tablet; maybe it’s a compatibility thing. I’m not saying the product is inherently bad, just that the refund process felt combative.
If you’re considering this, my tip is: document every message, ask clearly for a full refund early if things don’t work, and be prepared for some pushback. I’d also wish they made the refund terms clearer on the site — that small change would save a lot of hassle for other people.
