Halfway through the sign-up last month, I noticed the price on my card was much higher than the promo said. At first it seemed fine — clear interface, quick to enter card details — but when the charge hit it was over £100, not the £49.99 they'd advertised. Their explanation was that the £49.99 was only part of a 'package', and the rest is mandatory; feels like bait-and-switch. I asked for clarification and a refund; they replied once with a brief line and then nothing — no follow-up, no phone call. I did like how easy the set-up was, and parts of the site worked as expected, but the billing issue left a bad taste. I won't risk it again, and I'd warn others to check the small print very carefully. Bit disappointing overall, really not worth it.
Slow start, fairly sorted in the end
I bought this on a rainy Saturday and installed it straight away. Wanted to try it that same afternoon. First impression was underwhelming. The app slowed the phone down within a few hours. Apps opened slower. Scrolling juddered. Battery life dropped markedly — what used to last the day needed charging by mid-afternoon. That was worrying, because the whole point was to run quietly in the background. Instead it made itself obvious.
