the delivery team were brusque and, annoyingly, they nicked a bit of plaster on the ceiling getting the old super king out. They also said they couldn't fit our headboard because 'holes didn't match', which felt odd — so we ended up doing that ourselves once they left. The mattress itself is firmer than we're used to but in a good way; no dipping and my back's already happier. The free bedding set was a welcome extra. Started out sceptical, now cautiously happy. Fingers crossed it lasts, so far, touch wood.
Properly snug, honestly
hang on, this is actually nicer than it looks. It's soft in a proper way, not flimsy, and the weight is just right — not too heavy, not too floaty. It somehow tucks itself in, well, it feels like it does; I keep telling myself I must be imagining that. Delivery was surprisingly quick — it showed up before some of the other stuff I ordered and that genuinely made my day. Even better, customer service answered a daft question I sent at midnight (blame the excitement) and were actually helpful, polite and human. I wasn't expecting that level of care. The only slight niggle is I wish there was more size/colour choice on the site — small gripe. Already planning to get the winter version and a couple of pillows, and yes, the kids will have a go too because they declared it "ridiculously cosy". All in all, makes going to bed feel a bit special; not just routine. Worth paying a bit more for, in my view, and I'll be buying again — sooner rather than later.
