Right in the middle of doing my Sunday mani, I realised I was genuinely pleased. At first the kit arrived with a couple of bottles looking a bit low and one rather gloopy, and I nearly sighed and put it away. But I got in touch with the company, explained how I use these for quick touch-ups between meetings and the odd date night, and they actually replied sensibly. They sent a diluent and a replacement for the worst bottle, and once I mixed them up the colours went on smoothly — not flawless, one brush still needs attention — but plenty good for daily life. It’s handy, saves me a trip to the shop, and I’ve been using the set most evenings while watching telly. There were a couple of awkward emails at first, and I had to be patient, but the moment it all worked and I could see neat nails, that’s when I felt it had been worth it.
