Turned up for the game and my ticket wasn’t accepted at the gate — proper let-down. I’d bought it weeks in advance because my back’s been rubbish since a recent move and I needed a guaranteed seat, so I was really counting on this. The “delivery” was just an email and it proved useless. Contacted customer service and they pretty much washed their hands; vague replies, no real help (and by the time I realised it was past the bank’s dispute window). Quietly annoyed — hoped they'd fix it but they didn’t. Won’t risk buying like that again.
Almost didn't buy — glad I did
I was half convinced I'd end up ticketless, sat on the sofa muttering about dodgy ticket sites, but I went for it with ScoreBig in the end. I hesitated because I'd had a nightmare with extra fees elsewhere, and because who trusts a bargain, right? They pinged a confirmation straight away, grabbed me two cracking seats for Chris Tomlin at a sensible price, no sneaky charges — nice. Tickets arrived by email exactly as promised. The gig was brilliant, Jamie Macdonald (or is it MacDonald? I never get that right) plus the Myrtle Beach crowd — and a proper uplifting night. Glad I took the chance.
Late and a bit of a mess
I felt stupid waiting around for an answer. At first it was all “we’ll email you” and then silence, which made me wary straight away. The phone chat didn’t help — brusque replies, someone claiming to be a manager who later admitted they weren’t, and that left a sour taste. The tickets finally arrived, but via Ticketmaster, not from the seller, and they weren’t the ones I thought I’d paid for. They looked genuine though, which was a relief, but I still had to squint at seat numbers and I’m not convinced we didn’t end up further back. Using the e-tickets was fine once they were in my phone, easy to scan and no dramas at the gate, but the whole process felt flakey. If you buy from them, be prepared to chase and don’t expect clear communication. A bit more honesty and better tracking would help. I’d buy again only if the price was right and there were proper guarantees.
Half a trip, half a refund
the ID verification. At the time it felt like a sensible safety check and got the tickets to me fast, which was great. But it turned out to be meaningless when the tickets had already been used. That particular small procedural step gave me a false sense of security. If the process is going to ask for personal documents, it should actually protect the buyer — not just be theatre that lets fraudulent tickets slip through until the gate staff spot them.
I won’t use SeatGeek again for NFL tickets; I don’t trust the middleman chain that led to ScoreBig handling my order. A colleague recommended NFLExchange as an alternative, and that’s where I’ll buy in future. The experience left me a bit bruised and annoyed, but not completely broken — I did get my money back eventually, thanks to my credit card company. Still, it cost time, worry and a ruined trip. If you spot a similar deal and it’s not direct from the club or a well‑vetted seller, be cautious. Keep records, be ready to fight for refunds, and don’t assume an ID check equals real protection.
