By the time I’d tried the jacket on, most of my doubts had gone. I’ve had suits from other shops arrive looking decent online but feeling oddly stiff, so I wasn’t entirely convinced when I ordered this set. The shoulders sit properly, the trousers have room without going baggy, and it looks smart for my mate’s wedding. The fabric does crease after sitting down for ages, which is a bit annoying, but steaming sorts it quickly. Overall, pleasantly surprised.
The jacket mix-up became a saga
I should have listened to the little voice that said, “check this properly first”. I first saw Sebastian Cruz Couture on Instagram after a mate mentioned their jackets, and the Oro Fiore looked genuinely smart. I hesitated over the price and the final-sale wording, but thought the photos and branding suggested a reliable business. Sadly, that doubt turned out to be justified.
Not worth the chasing
on the 3rd I was told someone would come back to me, and on the 12th it was apparently being raised with the team. Nothing since. I have bought their clothes before. They’re alright, not terrible, but the prices feel optimistic for the finish you get. Asking for a refund led to shop credit, which isn’t much use when I don’t want another order sitting in limbo. I’m now considering taking it up with my card provider.
Almost didn't order, glad I did — but what a ride
the website looked smart, measurements seemed straightforward and I told myself I’d just sort any tweaks later. Then the wait started. Six weeks for the first suit felt like forever. When it finally turned up it didn’t fit properly. That was annoying. I tried calling, emailing and using their chat — kept getting nothing back. That made me panic so I re-ordered a different size, hoping to fix it before the wedding. That second suit also took ages, and arrived after the big day. I refused the delivery and opened a dispute with my card provider. Frustratingly, they were quick to reply to the dispute but not to me directly. I kept thinking maybe I’d done something wrong with measurements, maybe I missed a note. But I didn’t. I’m relieved I had proof the parcel was refused and returned. So, the positives: when you go through the right channels (dispute with your card company) you do get a response and you can protect yourself. The negatives: customer communication is poor, delivery times are long and sizes don’t seem to match what’s on the site. Would I recommend them? Only if you’re prepared for a gamble, and if you use a card that offers dispute protection — lesson learned. Despite the hassle I’m glad I tried them; just wish they’d been easier to get hold of. Small wins and big frustrations.
Late parcel, nice shirt — ish
the fabric was properly lovely, soft in a way that made me forgive a lot, but the rest? A bit messy.
Ordering was pleasantly simple — slick website, friendly-sounding rep on the phone, card accepted, receipt popped into my inbox. That was the high point. After that, communication pretty much vanished. I spent ages refreshing my email, phoning, and yes, even checking forums to see if others were in the same boat. Spoiler: they were. Lots of noise online, which made me nervous, but I held on.
When the shirt did arrive it felt great against the skin — smooth, weighty enough to feel like quality, not that paper-thin stuff you get elsewhere. The cut, though, was a bit off on the shoulders and a button was sewn on wonkily. Little things, but noticeable. I ironed it, wore it, and got a few compliments, so it definitely does the job. I just wish the journey had been less drama.
Compared to other brands I've tried — some who are fast and impeccable, others who are worse — this one sits awkwardly in the middle. Good material, shabby follow-through. I don’t think it’s a scam, just sloppy in parts and not great at keeping customers in the loop. If you value lovely fabric and can tolerate delays and the occasional sloppy stitch, you might be fine. If you hate chasing companies, maybe look elsewhere. Me?
