Was scrabbling for a decent waterproof because my old coat split on a rainy commute — needed it quick. The coat that arrived looked cheap and I hit brick walls with the online returns, captcha kept failing and the order number wasn’t recognised. After some faff I phoned and a surprisingly calm agent sorted refund same week — that’s when I relaxed. Still annoyed about the hassle, but refund was relief, and the courier was polite.
Not flashy, it worked
I was iffy at first — after being burned by a few recovery firms before — but Treblesltd quietly did the job. The standout was they got my frozen funds back without asking for fees up front, which made me relax a bit. They were steady, a touch no‑nonsense and kept me updated. Still cautious, but I’d use them again or tell someone stuck with a dodgy broker.
Delivery left me waiting
Was relying on this for commutes — a light waterproof for cycling and dog walks. Tracking says Evri delivered it on 8 May and left it 'on show', but I never received anything. I've emailed several times, asked for a refund and still have nothing by 21 May. The coat looked fine in the listing and would've been handy, but the customer service and delivery let it down.
Late jacket, poor updates
Standing in a damp campsite I realised my new Craghoppers jacket hadn't turned up — ordered for a walking holiday because my old one leaked (back's a bit dodgy, needed proper weatherproofing). Paid on 18 June, promised quick dispatch, then radio silence. Emails were vague or ignored ("sorting it"), a couple of days later blamed a supplier issue. It did turn up about a week late and the jacket itself is fine — neat fit, good fabric — but the lack of clear communication and no easy refund option made it really stressful.
Stars looked painted
Right after unwrapping I put it on to check the fit — I needed something quick for a gig because my old biker had fallen to bits. The leather itself is stiff, plasticky at the edges, and the lining feels cheap. The star logo looks like it’s been daubed on by someone; smudged and raised, rough under the hand. Zip and seams are okay though. I emailed support and got no reply, so I’m using PayPal — which I’m relieved about.
Moment I knew it was worth it
I moved flat and my lower back was protesting, so I bought this on a bit of a hope. First night I actually slept through without waking stiff — that was the moment I realised it was doing its job. Ordering was simple enough, price reasonable for what I needed, and delivery turned up when they said it would. Not everything was perfect (had to sort a small mix-up with size), but I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and how much quicker I felt better.
Sorted at last
I only realised once they hadn't arrived that I'd sent a pair of Dune shoes back to the wrong seller. Not ideal. I got in touch with Secret Sales and spoke to Lewis — dry, efficient and actually helpful. The moment I knew it was going to be fine was when he traced the misplaced return, contacted the other seller and then issued a fresh returns label so I could send them back to Secret Sales directly. He kept sending short updates by email, which calmed me down. I wear the shoes for work and for commuting, so having it fixed was a proper relief, honestly.
Late-night lifeline
Picture me, half-asleep with a mug and scrolling through bank alerts — I’d put my spare cash into a broker and, after a few wins, trying to withdraw felt like wading through treacle. I rang TREBLESLTD*COM after a mate recommended them and honestly they were proper helpful. What stood out was how quickly they answered and focused on the actual recovery plan — no faff, just steps and follow-up. I use these small investments as my weekend hobby money, so getting it back mattered. It wasn’t flawless — there were a couple of slow replies and some admin hoops — but overall they recovered more than I expected. Recommend if you’re stuck and want someone to actually push things.
Relief when it mattered
calm, professional and actually patient, which made a difference. They talked me through the steps, kept me posted, and bit by bit I began to feel things might be sorted. The turning point was when some money actually came back; then I knew they weren’t just talk. Not flawless — there were a couple of slow replies — but overall very solid and trustworthy.
One good top, lots missing
it looks like the system marked the whole order as done and I’m left chasing bits and pieces. I’ve had dodgy deliveries before from other places so I’m used to the faff, but still, this felt avoidable. I’ve already messaged customer service and asked for a refund for the missing items. I’m glad at least one item was decent, otherwise it’d be worse, but I probably won’t recommend them again until they sort out their logistics. Bit gutted, to be honest.
Half a parcel and full of hassle
packaging ok, bit cheap, but I expected the rest to turn up. Day turned into week, I chased their customer service (which felt like sending messages into a void), and eventually they sent me a screenshot of a dispatch list that claimed everything was 'received' which made no sense. After a lot of back-and-forth, courier confirmations and me getting grumpy, I escalated via Clearpay and my bank. That final moment of relief — when Clearpay confirmed a refund — is when I actually felt satisfied, oddly calm, because they'd taken responsibility where the seller hadn't. Wouldn't recommend for peace of mind, but credit where it's due: getting the money back was the bit that made me stop stressing. Slightly annoyed, learned my lesson, won't order so many bits from one place again. The whole thing felt unnecessarily time-consuming and tedious.
Nearly sorted after empty parcel
Midway through clearing the kitchen table I sliced open the parcel and found…nothing. An empty box where £416 worth of home fragrances — candles and diffusers I’d picked for cosy nights in and when friends pop round — should have been. It was infuriating, but oddly it made me get organised quick. I filed a police report (they were actually quite helpful) and took photos of the packaging, timestamps and everything else. The seller was listed as Secret Sales and the goods arrived from a place called Scent Warehouse; their online reviews made me nervous, so I’ve started gathering witness statements too. Customer support didn’t help much, so it’s down to evidence and small claims now. On the plus side handling all this has made me more thorough — I’ve logged serials, delivery photos and a neighbour who saw the drop. I’ll upload what I can for others to see and I’m fairly hopeful the court will sort it. Frustrating to lose time, but I’m not giving up and at least there’s a clear path forward.
The chinos that turned into a saga
measure stuff yourself, keep photos, and pay via a payment method that actually helps when things go wrong. I'd like the shop to be clearer and quicker, but for now I'm just relieved it's over.
From rock-bottom to relief — a proper turnaround
I’d been duped, lost what I thought was untouchable, and then went through another nasty recovery scam. So yeah, I was sceptical when I found this firm after reading someone else’s story on a review site. But something nudged me to try one more time, and I’m glad I did.
They asked for a lot of details about how the scam happened (which was awkward to relive), and within a day they came back with a trace and said it looked possible to get my money back. Here’s the bit worth dwelling on: the “TPM upgrade” fee. It felt horrible being told I had to pay a substantial sum up front — I even sold my car to raise the cash — and that’s the part that still sits uneasily with me. It’s expensive, and I kept thinking, am I being scammed again? But the team were steady, answered my questions, and didn’t rush me, which helped.
In about 48 hours after paying that fee my funds were transferred back to my bank. To be honest, when I saw the amount land I cried (quietly, in the car — ridiculous, I know) and couldn’t quite breathe for a bit. That relief was real. The process isn’t flawless: the upfront cost and the stress around it were brutal, and they could be much clearer about why fees scale with the amount. But the people handling it were professional, communicative and, ultimately, effective.
If you’ve been burned before (I had, twice), you’ll naturally be wary. My advice: ask plenty of questions, make sure you’re comfortable with the plan, and be prepared that it might cost to get something back. It’s not a silver bullet and it’s not cheap, but for me — having lost everything — it worked, and that counts for a lot.Small sizing, slow fix
I was a bit unsure before I bought this — the price looked decent but the sizing chart felt vague, and some reviews were mixed. I ordered an XL for my husband and when it arrived it was tiny. Honestly, he couldn’t even get an arm in. That kicked off a tedious back-and-forth. I sent the return and explained it wasn’t true to size and that the return cost shouldn’t be on me. They asked for a photo as proof even though the parcel was already on its way back. I kept saying they could check it themselves once they received it. Emails piled up. At first I was pretty annoyed; it felt dismissive and unnecessary. I’ve had smoother returns with other companies, so this was frustrating. Anyway, after a few more messages and a mild complaint, someone higher up finally reviewed the case. They issued a refund and agreed to cover the return postage. Not ideal that it took effort, but in the end the money came back and they accepted responsibility. So my doubts faded somewhat — not perfect service, but a reasonable outcome after persistence.
Clothing and Aftershave
Avoid absolute scammers I am still waiting on 2 refunds from them and they simply refuse to answer any questions They falsely advertise goods send different items to those that are advertised and eventually when returned refuse to refund. Avoid these scammers.
My awesome new stuff!
Oh my goodness, I got this really amazing thing from this website and it came really quickly! It's so beautiful but there was a small stain on it, so I contacted customer services and they mentioned they would talk to the seller about giving me a discount. In general, I'm really pleased with my purchase and I'm excited to wear it!
Variety of brands and great prices
Secret Sales is a brilliant place to discover loads of different brands at really good prices. I bought something from them not long ago and was so impressed with all the products they had on offer. There was a little bit of a mix-up when one of my parcels arrived on its own and I couldn't find it anywhere, but as soon as I got in touch with the customer service team they replied straight away. They sent me a picture which helped me find my missing parcel, and I was so happy with how helpful they were.
Designer handbag purchase
I bought a fancy handbag from Secret Sales not long ago, but to be honest, I was really let down by the quality. The bag came all the way from Istanbul and it was really not up to scratch. I don't think I'll be getting any more designer bags from that shop again.
T-shirt and leggings
I bought a t-shirt and leggings from this website because my friend recommended it to me. But when I wanted to return them, I had trouble because the website didn't recognise my email, order number, or postcode. I tried to request a return through the order confirmation email, but it didn't work. I emailed customer service, but I didn't get any response. I even tried the instant chat, but I got disconnected after waiting for ages. I'm so frustrated!
