I tore the sachet open thinking they'd all pop up. Only a handful did. Delivery was actually quick, so that was decent. Customer service, though, was a different story — rather brusque and offered a swap for cheaper seeds as if that was fine. I've had friendlier responses from tiny growers. It's not a total disaster, a few plants came through, but the whole exchange left a sour taste.
Wrong types in the pack
three didn't sprout (could be on me) and two were clearly photos. Support asked for random germination photos — I don't keep a photo diary of every seed and I'd already sent pictures showing the two were photos. Their guarantee felt pointless. Glad some grew, but as someone in the trade I won't buy again until they sort quality control.
Used to be alright
they said they couldn't do anything, no resend, no refund, even though I paid for the insurance. That really stings — insurance not honoured. I don't normally write negative reviews, but I'm properly let down. Oddly, the website and tracking looked fine which made the quiet answer even more frustrating. I've had better luck with other shops, so won't be back unless they make it right.
Not great, but one tiny win
I was standing on the balcony with my mug, poking soil that looked untouched, and suddenly a tiny green tip broke the surface. That was the moment I felt properly pleased. I'd almost given up after waiting a week for the parcel while other suppliers would have it here in a couple of days. Two seeds didn't show, one did, and the lack of spare seed tape or tags made it awkward to keep track — I use these for everyday cooking and my morning pot of herbs. Customer support wasn't much help and when I asked to close the account they said they couldn't do more for the germination issues. So it's a mix — happy that one worked, annoyed by the rest. I'd try again if they improved.
Half the promise
I first saw these on a UK gardening forum and even tipped my neighbour to give them a go, so I had a bit of trust. Second time buying and germination was poor again — only 3 of 9 seeds came up, roughly 33%. One of those three actually budded quickly, about five weeks in at roughly 20 cm, which was encouraging, but the others either never appeared or one later just up and died at about a foot. I didn't photograph the duds — not my thing to fake evidence — so their no-replacement-without-pics policy meant no compensation this time. It’s decent enough when things work, and customer replies are blunt but functional, yet I won’t be gambling on these seeds again.
