I first saw the garden set online after a mate flagged it up. Delivery arrived early May, as they said. One cushion was a bit off though. I rang and spoke to Matt, he really sorted it straight away and rang back to say the supplier was sending a replacement. Properly handled. Not flashy, but that's fine. I'd recommend it for the service.
Firmer seats, small snag
I needed new garden chairs after moving and because my back's been acting up, so firmer seats were the plan. There was a hiccup with delivery but Keengardener replied promptly and gave the carrier's contact. They rebooked for a convenient day, chairs arrived well packed and perfect. Mildly relieved.
Delivery mess, product OK
the goods were fine and I'm relieved they arrived intact, but the delivery was a mess. I used it last weekend for a small garden job and first impression was positive — kit looked solid. Trouble was the driver ignored clear instructions and knocked down two stone walls. The company and haulier shrugged it off, even hinted we faked photos, and offered no compensation.
Garden let-down
First thing in the morning I put the fountain in the garden and it wouldn't start. The pump was dead. It arrived within a week but the box was a bit battered. I emailed weeks ago — the returns policy said a reply within 48 hours — nothing. I rang a few times, left a voicemail, no callback. I use it to mask traffic while I work from home, so it's a bit of a waste. Please sort invoice 529264.

Unexpected bargain chairs
quite happy with the chairs, even if I nearly didn't buy them. I first spotted these on a mate's patio and thought the seller looked a bit dodgy. Took the plunge anyway and got two in the grey finish — much cheaper than other shops and they turned up quicker than I expected. Quality's better than I'd assumed and, oddly, cushions were included, a nice surprise. I even told my sister. Will use again, but will double‑check delivery next time.
A safe bet that went a bit sideways
I had recently moved and with a dodgy back I wanted something low-maintenance for the patio — thought these weatherproof bushes would do the trick. Delivery was fine, they turned up when promised and the pots were heavy so they didn’t blow over or anything. I was a bit wary at first (you hear stories), but the first couple of days looked okay. Then one of the decorative balls split clean off at the trunk — bizarre given the plants were sheltered and the recent storm barely brushed this end of town. I contacted customer service and, at first, felt brushed off; they pointed to the storm and didn’t seem keen to help. After sending photos and a few emails they did agree to a replacement, so I’ll grudgingly give points for sorting it in the end. Overall I’m relieved it was resolved but annoyed it happened so quickly — and that first response was poor. Would think twice before ordering again, though the delivery itself was solid.
Bit miffed but the set is alright
it dropped a couple of hundred quid over a bank holiday and the company wouldn't budge on a refund or even a partial voucher. Little bit gutted, honestly.
Pleasantly surprised
Funny thing — I wasn't expecting much when I ordered a couple of bits for the garden, but it turned out proper good. I've done two or three orders lately, snapped up some genuine bargains on tools from brands I know, and they actually feel solid. Delivery came quick, which is always a relief, and when I rang about a tiny confusion with one item someone picked up in under two minutes and calmly talked me through it — turned out to be my mistake, not theirs. Would tell mates to ring if unsure; I'll buy again for sure.
Relief after a messy move
put it on a flat, paved base and have the right tools to hand. Would definitely buy from them again.
Storage box lid replacement
I had to get a new lid for a storage box I bought, and it took three attempts to get the right one. Despite the hassle, the customer service from Keen Gardener was top-notch. Shire shed purchase
I recently bought a shed and it was a brilliant experience from beginning to end. The shed I got was from a great company, and I'm really happy with it. Ordering was easy and there was good communication all the way. I could pick a delivery date and time that suited me, and the shed turned up when they said it would. The delivery driver was really nice and made everything easy. I've put the shed together now and it looks brilliant in my garden. I'm really pleased with my purchase overall.
Garden furniture set

Fencing for my garden
I bought this fencing for my garden and I absolutely love it! The customer service was fantastic, they were so nice and helpful. The fencing was packaged really well and arrived incredibly quickly, which was great. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will definitely be recommending this website to my friends. It's not easy to come by good customer service these days, so I truly value it when I do.
Rake attachment, £10 cheaper
I bought a rake attachment for my multi-change system from this place because it was £10 cheaper than the official website. It arrived really quickly, the next day, and was packaged really nicely. When I opened it up, the rake was in perfect condition. I'm looking forward to trying it out in my garden!
Greenhouse purchase
Oh my goodness, I will absolutely never purchase anything from that place again! They were just terrible! We bought a greenhouse from them and it was absolutely awful! The materials were really cheap and flimsy, and there were so many missing and incorrect parts! The customer service was the worst I have ever encountered, the manager was so rude! They didn't listen to anything we said and just accused us of lying! It's like they're selling complete rubbish and refusing to take any responsibility for it! I will definitely never go back there again!
Water feature purchase
I recently bought a water feature from this company, and I have to say I'm really happy with it. I had a bad time with a different seller, so I thought I'd try this one instead, and I'm really glad I did. Not only were they cheaper, but my order arrived quickly in just over 24 hours. The customer service I got when I needed help putting the pump together was brilliant. The lady on the phone knew a lot and was really helpful. I'll definitely be shopping with them again.
Defective purchase resolved
I had a bit of a problem with something I bought from this company not so long ago and I have to admit, the way their customer service team handled it was really impressive. As soon as I got in touch with them about the issue, they were right on it and came up with a solution that totally surprised me in the best way possible. Artificial Buxus Tree
I bought a fake Buxus tree online recently and I have to say, I'm really impressed with how good it looks. I've bought similar trees from other places in the past, but they always looked so obviously fake and plastic that I had to send them back. This Buxus tree cost a bit more than the others I've tried, but it actually looks really realistic and surpassed my expectations. It was definitely worth paying a bit extra. Keen Gardener had the best price for this tree online, and I'm really pleased with my purchase.
Greenhouse heater purchase
I recently bought a greenhouse heater from this company and unfortunately, it started turning off randomly a few days ago. I contacted their customer service team at Keen Gardener and I have to say, I was really impressed. They had a technician call me promptly on Wednesday to talk about the issue, and after our chat, they kindly arranged for a replacement to be sent to me at no cost. The replacement arrived today and I am really happy with the great service and communication I received throughout this whole ordeal.
