you can’t tell whether a picture shows the inside or outside, or which face is meant to be visible. Pieces are stuffed into the crate to save space, not to help you assemble them, so you need a big area to lay everything out and make sense of it. That’s something I wish someone had warned me about beforehand — you can’t just parcel it into a driveway and start building on the slab; you need extra space to sort the chaos out.
Broken bits, no guide and a bank holiday headache
the delivery itself arrived when they said it would, which felt reassuring — until I started unpacking. Nothing was labelled, nothing numbered, just a mess of boards and a couple of pieces that were clearly damaged. No paperwork, no simple checklist, no step one, nothing. I’d booked a builder to put it up and had two competent DIY mates helping; still, within an hour everyone was staring at the pile of timber going “er… now what?” It’s weirdly stressful to be that well-prepared and simultaneously completely blind. I’d ordered the cabin to use straight away for a home office project and was planning to get started that same weekend. Obviously that didn’t happen. The lack of instructions turned what should have been a straightforward build into a proper puzzle — and not the fun sort. We hunted online for a manual for the model I bought, found nothing useful, only vague sketches for similar cabins that didn’t match up. So we improvised, which cost time and patience. The builder even said he’s never come across instructions this bad. It’s one thing to have a tricky flatpack, but another to send stuff out with zero guidance. The insulation arrived just thrown in on top of everything with no info on how it should fit. The bi-fold doors came without any instructions either, and initially they sat with a 20mm gap between them. We wrestled with them for ages and got that gap down to 10mm, but I’ve had to book a glazing fitter to finish it properly because I don’t trust our bodge-job to be water-tight long-term. I called customer service over the weekend — twice — and both times the phone was answered, which felt promising at the time. Unfortunately the people I spoke to couldn’t actually help. One chap, Lewis, suggested the problem was down to installer competence, which felt a bit rich considering we’d got a pro there and two experienced DIYers. He did eventually offer to email some guides, but why weren’t those attached to the order confirmation in the first place? Why didn’t whoever packed the delivery put the instructions in the box? When the guides did arrive by email later, they were pretty poor — the kind of diagrams that leave you more confused than before. I honestly got clearer instructions assembling a child’s cheap art easel last month. On top of that, two slats were broken in the pack; the company agreed to reimburse those, fair enough, but after sitting there dealing with delays and paying the builder for extra hours because of the missing instructions, that gesture felt small. There was no offer to cover the additional labour or the fitter I needed to call in for the doors. I’m not after compensation as a hobby, but it’s galling that a straightforward issue — bad documentation — turned into extra cost and a weekend wasted. It’s not all bleak: once up, the cabin looks nice, and I do feel optimistic it’ll serve well as an office. But that doesn’t excuse the dreadful experience getting there. A bank holiday should be for relaxing, not teaching you to become a flatpack detective. If you’re considering buying, ask yourself if you want to play guessing games with a delivery and then chase the supplier for basic help. If you don’t have extra time, patience, or money to pay tradespeople to fix what unclear instructions have messed up, maybe look elsewhere. I’d probably pick a supplier who attaches clear PDF instructions to the order email, labels parts, and says “here’s the stuff you need, in this order” — tiny changes that would have saved a lot of hassle. As it is, I’ll enjoy the cabin once the finishing bits are sorted, but I’m not recommending the buying process — the delivery time was fine, the product is okay, the service? Not great. Lesson learned: cheaper up front doesn’t always mean cheaper overall.
Cabin purchase with damaged parts replaced
I've just bought a cabin and had a bit of bad luck - two parts turned up damaged. But I had a chat with them on the phone and they quickly sent out replacement parts. They were straight up about when things would be delivered, and their customer service team was spot on and really helpful. To cut a long story short, my experience with them was top-notch.
Norland Newark 4 log cabin
I bought the Norland Newark 4 log cabin a couple of years ago and I had a really good experience with everything - the purchase, customer service, delivery, and assembly. The whole transaction went smoothly and the customer service was top-notch. The delivery was even better than I expected, it was on time and the delivery team were really helpful. I had two people put the log cabin together for me, and it was simple as everything just clicked and slotted together easily. The rubber roof went on without any issues too. I'm thinking about getting a sauna from the same company now. I recommend using Barretine wood preserver on the log cabin, I used the light brown one and it did a great job on the wood, giving it a nice finish. I wish I could show you a photo of the log cabin in my garden to show off how good it looks now that I've used the wood preserver.

Eurovudas Dover Log Cabin for Melville Club
I recently got a log cabin for the Melville Club and it was absolutely brilliant! The delivery arrived bang on time and the driver was really lovely and helpful. The quality of the cabin was fantastic and now that it's all set up, it looks absolutely amazing. We did encounter a small issue, but they sorted it out really quickly the next day. Log cabin purchase
I recently purchased a log cabin from you and I have to say, I am really pleased with it. The instructions were really clear and simple to follow, so putting it together was a breeze. I would definitely advise taking the time to read through the instructions properly before you start, just to make sure everything goes smoothly. It's really important to make sure the base is level for the cabin to be stable and last a long time. I also found it helpful to coat all the wood pieces with decking oil before assembly, to give them some extra protection from the weather.
Garden shed
I had no trouble at all placing my order with the company, and the delivery arrived exactly when they said it would. The delivery team were really useful and made everything super easy. Putting up the shed was a breeze and the quality is top-notch. It's kept all my stuff dry and it looks brilliant in my garden. I bought a garden shed/bar recently and I must say, I'm really happy with it. It came on time and was placed exactly where I wanted it. The shed/bar itself is top-notch quality and we've already hosted a few get-togethers in there. I did need a hand from my partner to put together the roof, as it was quite heavy, but the instructions made the whole construction process pretty easy. After a few tweaks, everything fitted together perfectly.

I've recently bought a log cabin from this company and I must say, my overall experience was pretty good. The service was excellent, they kept me updated regularly on how my order was progressing. When it came to the delivery, everything went smoothly and the driver even gave me a call beforehand to confirm the delivery time. The only downside was that I found the installation instructions a bit lacking in detail, it could have done with clearer tips. But despite that, the log cabin itself is really well-made and lives up to the quality they advertised. I decided to insulate and clad the inside myself, and also added power and lighting, which made it much more comfortable to spend time in. I even got a bit creative and used some of the packaging material to make guttering brackets for the roof. All in all, I'd say the product was definitely worth the money.

Turns out, things were moving at a snail's pace and my log cabin didn't even start its journey from Portugal until July. Talk about disappointing!

Prima 5th Avenue for self-erect
I bought the Prima 5th Avenue cabin recently for self-erecting, and I have to say, I'm really pleased with how it all turned out. Sure, there were a couple of small problems with the packaging of the hardware, but overall, things went pretty smoothly. What really got me was how simple it was to put the cabin together all by myself, even at the ripe old age of 70. It just goes to show the supplier did a great job with a user-friendly design and clear instructions.
Log cabin for Norland Scotland
I bought a log cabin from this company not long ago and I must say, I'm pretty pleased with it overall. The delivery took a bit longer than expected, but when it finally arrived, it was well wrapped and in good shape. Putting the cabin together with my neighbour was a bit tricky because the instructions were quite basic and we had some wonky roof panels to deal with. It definitely required some problem-solving skills and DIY know-how. However, once we got it all set up and painted, the log cabin looked fantastic. It's now a lovely space with lots of light, good ventilation, and a nice aesthetic inside. My family and friends have all given it the thumbs up too.
