Halfway through carving Sunday roast the handle just popped off — you can imagine the faces around the table. I’d relied on that Stellar Sabatier for ages, so it felt like losing an old friend mid-duty. I rang customer services because, well, what else do you do when your knife decides to retire early? To my surprise they didn’t make it awkward. Ellie at Stellar sorted a replacement without me having to dig out a receipt from a drawer two moves ago. She was calm, explained a few technical bits (which I mostly nodded through, but it helped) and let me choose which model I wanted. The new knife turned up in a couple of days, exactly when I needed it for another family meal — saved me from awkwardly waving a bread knife about. I was properly relieved and, oddly, a bit pleased that good service like this still exists. It wasn’t flashy, just straightforward and friendly, and that made all the difference. So yes, a small hiccup turned into a reminder that decent people answer the phone and do the right thing.
Glad I took the plunge
I nearly didn't press buy — I was a bit sceptical, prices good, lifetime guarantee sounded almost too good to be true. So I ordered the 5‑piece draining saucepan set and I'm pleased I did. The website was clear, no hidden bits, and checkout was painless. I was surprised to get the parcel the next day without paying extra; that calmed my nerves away. My free gifts weren't in the box though — annoying — but one quick message to customer support sorted it. They explained the Blue Light voucher had dropped total under threshold, apologised and then said they'd still send the gifts as a goodwill gesture. That felt honest and fair. I haven't used the pans myself yet (a family member has the same set for 15 years and swears by them), but everything looks solid and well made. All in all, good product, customer service and the sort of company that sticks to their word. Makes me feel confident to buy from them again.
