avoid this outfit shop — my order never showed and I had to get my bank involved. I’d ordered a costume for my daughter for Halloween and was relying on the 2–3 day delivery for a school party, so it was a proper panic. Loads of chasing emails, then a sorry message that still didn’t admit they hadn’t shipped it. Really gutted, to be honest. In the end we cobbled something together, but it was stressful and won’t use them again.
Bit of a delivery mess
Had to laugh, then sigh — I was honestly annoyed. I paid extra for next‑day delivery and it didn’t arrive until about five days later. I returned the costumes straight away and it’s been well over two weeks with no refund, so I’ve had to get my bank involved. Email replies were pretty vague and they said there’s nobody handling UK enquiries, which was a bit daft. Overall it’s been a hassle — avoid if you need things really quickly, and save yourself the time.
Tea, parcel and a pointless return rule
nice, but a size too small. Asked for a return label a week later and had to nag twice; the label arrived days after, which put me outside their 15-day-from-purchase rule. My doubts weren't resolved — frankly annoyed, so I'll definitely shop somewhere more flexible from now on.
Late for the event
I ordered some bits for a small Halloween get-together and expected them to arrive quickly — needed them, simple as that. The website promised next‑day dispatch but nearly a week went by with no update, no email, nothing, so I chased them. They eventually said it might arrive in time, which was faintly optimistic. When the parcel did show up (after I’d asked for a refund) the items themselves felt fine — decent weight, not totally cheap — but it was too late for the party. Useful if you’re not on a deadline; avoid for anything time-sensitive.
Nearly lost my nerve (then he grinned)
I ordered it on the 26th and paid extra for next‑day delivery, then spent a few days refreshing an empty order page and sending emails that got no reply. Not great, I admit, and there were a couple of proper “oh no” moments when he asked if he’d have to be a ghost instead. Anyway, it eventually turned up late on the 30th — not ideal, but better than nothing — and seeing him spin in the mirror (and refuse to take it off) did all the heavy lifting emotionally. So, am I pleased? Yes, relieved and quietly grateful that Halloween wasn’t ruined. Would’ve preferred clearer updates and a quicker response from customer service, but the costume did the job: trick‑or‑treating, a bit of backyard swordplay, and endless “look at me” poses. Little imperfect experience overall, but that grin made it worth the hassle.
