The milk delivery service was terrible! The bottles were just left under a bird feeder so they ended up covered in bird poo. It was so annoying because we had to throw them all away, what a waste!
Fresh produce and sustainable products
The fresh produce and sustainable products from this service are really good. I can always count on the quality, and I like that they have a lot of new things to try. The app is simple to use, so it's easy to order and manage my subscriptions. I especially love that I can cut down on plastic waste by using refillable bottles and containers. All in all, I'm happy with what they offer and how reliable the service is.
Weekly grocery delivery
The Modern Milkman has been great at delivering our weekly groceries. The quality of the products is always really good, and we love how easy it is to have everything brought right to our doorstep. But, there have been a few times where our deliveries have come earlier than we were expecting, sometimes even before midnight the day before they're supposed to arrive. We do appreciate the efficiency, but we'd rather they come during the time slot we've chosen so we're ready to take them in.
Fresh milk delivery
I really enjoyed the service I got from The Modern Milkman, it reminded me of my childhood when waking up to fresh milk on the doorstep was a common thing. I liked the glass bottles they used, it felt nostalgic and helped to cut down on waste. Having my milk brought right to my door was so convenient, much better than going to the supermarket. I was happy with the service overall and the products were top quality too.

I thought I was doing a good thing by supporting this new start-up and ordering fresh produce from them. Turns out, it was a total disaster. Let me explain - the ordering process was chaotic. I didn't even get a confirmation email, and when I tried to contact them for help, no one answered the phone. And don't get me started on the prices - I found the same products elsewhere for much cheaper. To top it all off, my delivery arrived a day late with no explanation or apology. So much for top-notch service, right?
Fresh dairy products and juices delivery
I got some stuff from The Modern Milkman and it was all really fresh and top quality. It was so handy having it all delivered right to my door, it made my life a lot easier. Now I don't have to stress about running out of milk or juice because I can just go online and order more, knowing it'll arrive the next day. The customer service was brilliant too, they were quick to answer any questions I had and super helpful. All in all, I had a great experience with The Modern Milkman and I'll definitely be using them again in the future.
Organic groceries
My experience with the service has actually been pretty good. The organic groceries they offer are top-notch, and they have a really wide range of products to choose from. But, there's one thing that keeps happening with the deliveries that's been bugging me. Even though I've made it clear where to leave the groceries to keep them out of the sun, they always seem to end up somewhere else. It's frustrating because it's important for keeping the products in good condition.
Milk bread eggs juice milkshake
I was hoping for the creamy milk i remember from milk flouts as a child.
This milk is more expensive then shop milk and doesnt stay fresh for long or taste as nice.
My oldest daughter prefers the shop milk.
I wouldnt mind but youd expect better quality for the extra cost. I dont believe this is the case.
The first time they delivered the milk it was at 12.30 at night bank holiday sunday. After seeing beeming headlights then hearing nooses in the garage i thought it was burglars.
Delivering milk at 12.30 at night when most people dont get up untill 7 doesnt help with keeping it fresh ethier.
Its left outside for hours before you put it in the fridge.
The second week. I paid for the order on the 18th and the 22nd today the order didnt even turn up at all.
Which defeats the whole object. Most parents cant afford to pay for shopping in advance and it not arrive on the date they have budgetted for.
There is no customer service line. So you cant ring up and sort out any complaints. Your only option is to change the date for delivery. Which doesnt solve the problem at all.
The food ive paid for hasnt been delivered. Most families cant afford to wait two days for a re delivery.
I would avoid this company. Quick enough to take the payments but your completely ignored by email and every other avenue when you have a complaint
