they sorted my mess and I’m impressed. I’d sent the wrong address by accident and, after a few days, nervously emailed to ask for a change. Within an hour I had an email confirming the new address and then a phone call from someone who was genuinely helpful — no corporate bluster, just practical. I ordered in late November for my little goddaughter’s Christmas, so it mattered. First impression was sceptical (who replies that fast?) but doubt melted; calm, efficient and caring. Would use again.
Sorted and relieved
I ordered a tuff tray and only noticed the colour was wrong when I unpacked it one afternoon. At first I thought oh bother, but then phoned Tuffspot and Shamus came back almost straight away. He was proper helpful — got the right department involved. The first parcel still had the wrong shade when it turned up, which was annoying, but then Shamus rang me personally to apologise and sorted it there and then. He sent the correct tray and told me to keep the first one. That was the moment I knew they’d gone above and beyond. I’ve been using the new tray with my grandson since last week and he’s made it his own. I’ll give the spare to the school where I work. Really glad I bought from them.
Small tray, unexpectedly handy
Halfway through a rainy afternoon the little tray was already dotted with crayons and cookie crumbs — it sort of lives on our sofa now. It's light, the edges stop everything rolling off and the surface wipes clean without drama, which is a relief with sticky kids. The colouring books that came were a bit different to what I expected and the felt tips were missing at first, but after a quick message they sorted it and even popped a mystery bundle in as an apology — lovely touch, totally unexpected. We use the tray for snacks, Lego bits and art time; it feels sturdy enough for proper use, not just a gimmick. All in all pleasantly surprised, especially by how useful it turned out to be day-to-day.
