Small, pretty but fumbled 26 February 2026

I opened the parcel in the morning before the party. The necklaces look lovely in the photos and they do in real life too — delicate, a bit dainty, the chain sits nicely and the clasp feels solid enough. First impression was good. They’re lightweight, so they don’t drag when you wear them, and the pendants catch the light in a nice, subtle way. I ordered three as presents and that’s when things went a bit sideways. They only sent two gift boxes, and both were little ring boxes, not the flat necklace boxes shown on the website. Also one of the chains wasn’t quite the same as pictured — the finish and link style looked different up close.
I called and emailed right away but they were on holiday for a week, so no reply until after the event. That was frustrating because I ended up buying substitute boxes at the last minute. When they finally got back to me they offered a 10% voucher, and after I complained publicly they refunded the cost of the extra boxes. They say they’ve changed their policy to be more flexible about gift boxes for environmental reasons. I get the intent, but I ordered specific items and expected matching packaging. If you’re trying for eco-friendly, that’s fine, but tell customers up front or give an option at checkout.
All in all the jewellery itself passed the test — people liked the pieces and they felt special enough to give as gifts — but the ordering and communication could be smoother. It’s not a disaster and they did make amends eventually, but it shouldn’t have taken a couple of public posts to get them to act. I’d buy again, cautiously.
