In short, I'm hooked — Blue Vanilla ticks most of the boxes for me. Their stuff is fun, comfortable and usually easy on the wallet, so I ended up buying one top and then kept going back for more. The designs feel a bit different to the high-street churn, and the knitwear and dresses have held up well so far. Not perfect — a couple of pieces fitted oddly and delivery was a touch slower once — but overall I’m pleased. I’d tell anyone curious to grab one item first, see the sizing, then you’ll probably be back like me. Good value for what you get.
Soft pyjamas, messy returns
I remember pulling them out of the parcel and thinking straight away how soft they felt — proper weight, not flimsy, with a slightly brushed finish that keeps you warm without overheating. A colleague had shown me hers at work and recommended these, so I ordered two sets to try. They sit roomy enough for sleeping and the waistband is comfortable, doesn’t dig in, and the stitching feels solid. The little pocket was a surprise; I stash my phone in it when I'm lounging, which is oddly handy. Washed them gently once and they kept their shape, no pilling so far. The only sour note was the returns — mixed addresses, bounced emails and slow replies — but they finally sent the right details. Hope the refund goes smoothly.
Unexpectedly decent, despite the delivery mess
I'm actually fairly pleased — weird, I know. I needed this as a Christmas present for my mum (we're hopeless at planning and that added the pressure), and the item itself turned out lovely — proper good quality, nicer than the photos really suggested. The annoying bit was the courier: EVRI left a photo showing the parcel "left outside" and it was at a different building to ours, panic ensued, I spent a couple of days chasing it and feeling like I might end up with no present. At first I felt like I was emailing a robot — vanilla's replies were a bit samey — but then one person actually took it on, called the local depot and somehow located a neighbour who'd taken it in for safekeeping. Small miracle. Communication could definitely be faster and the whole tracking/map situation was messy, but the product, the final resolution and that human who finally helped made me feel like it was worth it. So yes, a stressful few days, but happy with the purchase overall and might well buy again — just double-check your address and be ready to chase delivery if needed.
