slow and a bit glitchy when filtering. I'd tell others: use the measurement guide and be patient. Also, the sole lasted better than I expected.
A proper pleasant surprise
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much but I’m pleasantly surprised — their customer service won me over. I first spotted them on Instagram after a mate shared a post, and I was tempted to buy direct from a supplier to save a few quid, but that turned out to be a faff with no EU returns. These folks not only accept returns, they even email a returns postage label — which I didn’t expect, and that made things dead easy. Packaging is recyclable, which I like, and they actually called to check if everything was OK after I left a review. I was sceptical at first, then properly chuffed.
Cart nightmare but decent shoes
my card got declined and the whole basket vanished. Gone. Normally sites keep the items in the cart so you can try again, but here it emptied and I had to start over. On the plus side the brands look and feel proper quality, actually a nice surprise given the prices. I might try again for those shoes, but only if they sort the filtering and the checkout behaviour. For now I’m wary, might not recommend to someone who’s short on time.
Probably the only option, and that’s the rub
I keep using this site because it often is the only place with the stock I need, but it’s a bit of a faff and could be a lot better. I buy shoes for my child every few months and for everyday wear this place delivers what I actually need, even if the journey there tests your patience. Pricewise it can be all over the place — sometimes you’ll find the manufacturer cheaper, sometimes this site is markedly dearer, so I do a quick cross-check before committing. The site itself is sluggish at times: pages take ages to load, and if you switch tabs you might come back to half-loaded content — annoying when you’re juggling kids and time. Filtering is another pain point. They use their own size labels rather than the maker’s, so ordering several pairs labelled as "site UK 6" for the same kid gave wildly different fits. I’ve ended up returning one pair and keeping another that was labelled the same. Worst bit is the intermittent spinner that pops up the moment you scroll product pages — the page locks up for a second or two and you can’t do anything. If you’re trying several products to find an in-stock size, that delay repeats for each listing and it adds up. Still, I’m glad most orders arrive fine and customer service has been reasonable when I’ve needed it. So, not a glowing recommendation, but for stock and availability it does the job — with patience.
