I started using the Mast Fold Pro on a slow Sunday afternoon — unwrapped it, fiddled with the ink and the fake skin, and honestly the device itself feels solid and nicely weighted in the hand. The grip is comfortable, the motor is smooth once you find the right speed, and the needle action felt consistent from the first pass (not perfect, but very usable). I practised for a couple of hours and was quietly pleased with how natural it felt, like something you could get used to quickly. That said, the order experience was clunky. I asked to cancel while waiting for clip cord covers that supposedly weren’t in stock, and replies dried up for a bit; then suddenly the parcel was on its way. The company did send tracking details eventually, but the promised covers never arrived with the main package, so I was left improvising. Returning would be a hassle (there’s a non-trivial self-cost of about €60), so I kept it and made do. So yeah, product comfort and performance — thumbs up. Service and logistics — could be a lot better. Worth buying if you don’t mind a bit of paperwork and patience.
Finally, a moment of relief
the needles stuck out a couple of millimetres before it was even switched on, which felt unsafe. They sent what they called a replacement that was basically the same unit, same faults, same packaging. After sending six videos showing the exact problem I got blamed for everything — “send a full video” over and over, then radio silence once the last clip proved the issue. The turn came when a tattoo artist friend of mine took it apart, swapped a few bits and tweaked the springs — and suddenly it ran smooth, no wobble. That click of the motor running right? That’s when I felt satisfied, relieved more than pleased. Still annoyed at the hassle and poor support, but at least it works now and I can recommend it with a massive caveat.
