I needed the pink version as a birthday gift for my partner and ordered back in December, so I was already on edge. They said they could get it from the manufacturer with a February delivery, and I agreed to wait. Trouble was, February passed with no news and I found myself chasing them — emails, phone calls, the lot. At first they blamed the weather, then after more chasing someone admitted the parcel had been lost in transit and offered a grey one or a refund. That was annoying, I mean I'd waited months for a specific colour, but to be fair once I escalated and spoke to a different agent things actually moved. The refund was processed quicker than I’d expected and they did follow up to confirm it went through. So yes, the process was a bit of a faff and their communication could be a lot better, but the outcome was reasonable and I left satisfied in the end. Would I risk ordering again? Probably — but only if they gave clearer timings up front and didn't leave me doing all the chasing.
Don’t bother, it’s not as advertised
this site overstates everything and the whole buying experience was a waste of time. I needed a decent art easel and an eco-conscious paper roll for my little boy’s second birthday — wanted something that looked and felt proper for toddlers, and advertised as greener. What arrived was the opposite: the paper felt thin and chemically scented, and the easel was clearly a budget knock-off, like something re-boxed from a discount marketplace. So, not eco at all and not what the pictures or descriptions promised. I tried to return the lot and that’s where it got worse. It took ages for them to accept the return and provide labels; I was chasing them daily for the first two or three weeks, which frankly I didn’t have time for with a toddler around. Eventually they told me they couldn’t come to an agreement with their “suppliers” and I was left waiting. Refund only showed up after about six weeks, after a bunch of emails and a fair bit of irritation. I’ve reported the situation to Action Fraud and flagged it with consumer protection — felt like the only sensible step. The site seems to buy cheap items and sell them at a big markup under greener-sounding copy; that’s my read anyway. If you’re buying because of an event — birthday, moving house, whatever — don’t rely on them to deliver what’s pictured or described, and be prepared to fight for your money back. Slightly annoyed but also relieved it’s sorted now. Would have preferred a quick, honest transaction. If they’d been upfront I’d just have been disappointed, not out of time and present for my boy’s birthday.
