I purchased the TYMO Flip Pro Straightener based on the safety claims advertised on their website, including statements that it has an “Anti-Scald Design” and that you can use it on your scalp and “feel nothing.”
Unfortunately, this was not my experience at all.
During normal use, I burned my hands, and more concerningly, my 10-year-old daughter also suffered burns to her ears. This is extremely worrying given how strongly the product is marketed as being safe and non-burning.
In addition to this, the product is very difficult to use and not user-friendly at all.
When I contacted customer service, they refused to provide a proper refund unless I paid for return shipping, despite this clearly being a faulty and unsafe product. They instead offered a gift card, which is not an acceptable resolution.
Overall, I am very disappointed with both the product and the way this has been handled. I would not recommend this product, especially where safety is a concern.Two small lifesavers
I bought the Tymo CurlPro and Airbliss on a whim because I was fed up with sad, flat hair after long shifts and a disastrous curling wand last year. I was sceptical — gadgets often promise the earth — but both are pleasantly simple, compact and actually last all day, even looking decent next morning. Really worth checking more of their stuff, I think so.

Proper little lifesaver
a bit fiddly and unclear which heat you're on, so I've had to guess a few times, but it leaves hair surprisingly soft, still worth it.
That moment I knew
I was drying my hair after work and for once it wasn't a struggle. I first saw the Airbeam on Instagram and ordered it after my sister said she'd switched too. It's quiet, uses gentle heat and actually glides through tangles, which I didn't expect. The shine was instant and when a mate asked if I'd had it done, that was the sign — proper impressed. I've already told a few friends. Small bit of joy, really.
Mostly pleased
In short, I'm glad I bought it — mostly. They helped me on TikTok when I was trying to figure out one of the products, polite and patient, and later messenger replies were quick. I use the serum every morning before work and it's actually made my hair noticeably shinier, even after gym sweaty commutes — didn't expect that. Only niggle is the website checkout felt a bit clunky and the price isn't cheap, but the results and the helpful support made it worth trying.
