Took it out in a proper downpour the other day and it felt much better than a few coats I’ve had from bigger shops. It’s light enough to wear without feeling all stiff, but still keeps the rain out nicely. The website photos were actually useful too, which isn’t always the case. Ordering was straightforward, and it turned up two days later on standard delivery, wrapped neatly in tissue. Not absolutely bargain-basement cheap, but it feels worth it.
Nearly wrapped, then cancelled
Was halfway through wrapping when I got the cancellation email — classic. Ordered a skirt my partner had her eye on for Christmas because the website said it was in stock. Got confirmation and an estimated delivery date, felt sorted. Then, a week later, an email saying “cancelled — insufficient stock” with zero apology or real explanation. Bit annoying. Their systems clearly didn’t match reality; felt like they'd double-sold or kept phantom stock — proper ghost stock. Now I'm waiting for a refund and rushing around for a replacement present. If it’s time-sensitive, ring the shop or buy somewhere with reliable inventory. Not a disaster, but I won’t be ordering from them again.
