decent uptime (a couple of planned maintenance windows, otherwise steady), no sudden billing shocks and no disappearing servers. Customer service is probably the main reason I stuck around — tickets normally get a same‑day reply, sometimes within an hour, and live chat (when I've tried it) was concise and useful. The staff are patient and practical; they don't sugarcoat or push upsells, just tell you what needs doing. I am now moving to a heavier setup for a multiplayer game I'm developing, and the reliable delivery schedule and the fact support actually picks up make scaling much less stressful. Downsides? The control panel could be clearer and off‑hours responses can be slower, but they're honest about maintenance windows. I feel relieved knowing I can rely on them when things get busy.
Odd start, but it ended alright
promising on paper, awkward in practice. I spent a few hours with support sorting the language and verifying my account; they asked for photo ID, which I get, but it felt drawn out. On day two my Shoutcast server dropped and my stream specs didn’t match what I’d expected, so I had to reach out again. Credit where it’s due: the techs were quick to answer and got things back up reasonably fast — their response times are genuinely good. Where I got frustrated was the site-building side: there aren’t many easy tools to make something that looks professional without extra plugins or effort. That pushed me to look for another host after a week. Moving to the refund part, there was some back-and-forth about a “free” domain and whether that would be deducted from my refund. Initially I was shown different terms than I remembered, which felt like fine print shuffling. After I said I’d share my experience publicly, they re-evaluated and, in the end, offered a full refund as an exception. That shifted my scepticism to relief — not thrilled with the hiccups, but satisfied they could make it right. So, summary: not flawless, a rough first week with a few annoying surprises, but solid technical support and a company willing to sort the refund. If you’re comfortable checking settings and following up a bit, it can work — otherwise expect some faff.
