Ceiling lights
I had a really good experience with this company, even though I only realised after my order that they're not based in the UK. I ordered some ceiling lights on 4th April 2022 and got confirmation on the same day. I found out the next day that my shipment was actually coming from Germany. It arrived in the UK on 8th April, but got held up in customs because of the Easter weekend. I got a letter about import duties on 16th April, and I paid them online straight away. I rearranged my delivery for 22nd April, and the lights turned up as planned and were installed on the same day. I was also pleased that I could email my customs payment receipt for a refund, which I got a few days later. Overall, it took almost 3 weeks from ordering to installation, and I didn't have to pay any extra for import fees.
Unique lighting fixtures
I recently bought some really cool lighting fixtures from this online store. Even though it's based in Germany and could have had some Brexit-related problems, my experience was actually really good. The delivery was a bit late, but it still came within two weeks. I had to pay some import taxes, but the company quickly gave me a refund for that. It was a bit tricky to get through to them on the phone because the number didn't work, but they always replied to my emails the next day. The quality of the products is top-notch, all four fixtures are strong, look great, and each one is special in its own way. The light fitting arrived in perfect condition just 4 days after I placed my order, and there were no unexpected import costs. The quality of the product was even better than I expected, and I've already had lots of people give me compliments on it. Overall, I'm really chuffed with my purchase and the service I got.
Purchased international lighting fixtures
I had a really awful experience with this company. They're not even in the UK, so I had to pay extra customs duties on my goods. And to top it off, their phone number didn't even work, so I couldn't get hold of them for help. Even after I gave them a different delivery address, they still wouldn't help me out when the goods got stuck in customs. I wasted hours on hold, just trying to sort it out, but it was all just a big waste of time and money in the end.

I'm so disappointed with the service I've received from this company. I bought some LED ceiling lights and was really looking forward to getting them, but then I found out that they're stuck in customs because of a payment problem. I tried to contact the company for help, but I haven't had any response to my emails. It's left me feeling annoyed and I still don't have the products I paid for. I think the way Illuminations UK have handled this is really poor - their lack of communication and customer service is not on at all. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Now I'm left trying to sort it out with my bank so I can cancel the payment.

Incorrect item ordered, prompt refund received
I'll be honest, even though I saw some bad reviews, I thought I'd still give this company a go. So, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing on the 16th of December, but I quickly sent an email to explain my error. Would you believe it, I got a reply back on the 19th and they gave me a full refund by the 21st. I've got to hand it to them, their customer service and how quick they sorted everything out is really impressive. I wouldn't think twice about ordering from them again. All in all, it was a top-notch customer experience.
Four lights from the company
I recently bought four lights from this company and I have to say, I'm really impressed with both the product and the service. Despite the fact that the company is based in Germany, my order arrived without any problems in just two weeks. The lights look amazing and were really easy to put up. I also had a question about some negative reviews I had seen, so I sent them an email and got a response the very next day. All in all, I'm a very happy customer and would definitely think about buying from them again in the future.
Online purchase of a smart speaker
I recently decided to buy a smart speaker online, but unfortunately, the whole experience was a bit disappointing. I paid for it, but then heard nothing about my order. It felt like my money just vanished into thin air. Not getting any updates or messages made me feel annoyed and like I'd been tricked. Nowadays, good customer service is so important, but this company didn't manage to meet that standard. It's really sad to see such bad service when there are so many other companies out there all competing against each other.

The delivery times of this company are absolutely ridiculous. It's been two whole weeks and my order still hasn't even left the country. Their excuses are feeble and they won't even let me cancel the order. I'm now forced to wait for it to arrive and then send it back because of the delay. Their customer service is awful and they don't take any responsibility. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of them at all costs.
Kovi LED wall lights with dimming feature
Oh wow, these LED wall lights are absolutely amazing! I really like how I can easily dim them with just a switch. There was a small issue with one of the lights, but the customer service team sorted it out really quickly. They were incredibly friendly and helpful! Now I'm tempted to purchase more things from them because they were just fantastic.
Wall light purchase
I bought a wall light from this company recently, but sadly, I've had a really bad experience with it. It took ages for the wall light to actually arrive, and within just two months of putting it up, it's turned into a fire hazard. The plastic covering it has melted, the parts inside the driver unit have exploded and burned the housing, leaving a strong smell of sulfur and signs that it was close to catching fire. I tried getting in touch with the company about this serious problem, but all I got back was a standard thank you email after sending two messages. They've been ignoring me since then. I'm so let down by both the poor quality of the product and the service provided, as it's putting my home at risk.

Fairy lights
So, you know, I got these fairy lights yeah? And man, they were absolutely awful! The quality of the lighting was really bad. And seriously, the communication was just terrible, I was constantly having to chase them for updates. And guess what? The lights were damaged when they arrived! And when they sent me replacements, they were damaged as well! It took an eternity to get a response from them. Complete waste of time and money, they should just close up shop. And oh my days, don't even talk to me about the telephone number on their website, it doesn't even pick up calls!
Amazing lights
The lights were really amazing and eye-catching, but it took an eternity for them to show up. And when they finally did, I had to fork out extra for customs fees! Totally unfair, if you ask me. It feels like I was deceived into making the purchase. Really not cool.

I bought some LED lamps back in 2018, it's been about four years now, and a couple of them have stopped working recently. Even though it's been a while, I reached out to the company and they quickly sent me a label to return the faulty lamps. I sent them back and not long after, I got sent two brand new replacements. I'm really happy with the customer service from this company, they've been really professional and helpful.
Ceiling fan purchase
I bought a ceiling fan from this shop not long ago and I'm quite pleased with it. The only hiccup I had was with the delivery - when I got the notification that it had been dispatched, I realised it was coming from overseas via DHL. This caused a bit of a delay because of customs, but luckily I didn't get any extra charges. The fan itself is really good quality and it's working perfectly in my house.
