items turn up missing, I've had to reorder a few times. Works for simple stuff, but it's not as reliable as I hoped.
Support dead end
their support failed me. I was double‑billed for a routine order I place for weekly groceries and despite sending about 20 emails and phoning several times, the charge's still unresolved. Each contact just forwards me between departments; long holds end with "email customer service" instructions. It's annoying when you rely on it for everyday shopping.
Shaky start, still hanging on
promising. Then the order sat on 'awaiting GP approval' even though my doctor confirmed they'd signed it on Friday. Now I'm out of my heart meds and they say they're only 'packing' them; not great, especially over the weekend.
Delivery okay, site not
Spotted their service from an email and told my sister to try it. The website hangs, crashes, and needs twice as many clicks as you'd expect; live chat is often offline even during its listed hours. Customer support is slow, yet oddly the courier turned up early and the packaging was tidy — a surprise.
Last-minute relief
Halfway through packing I got the text that made me breathe — delivery due in an hour. I'd rung a few times earlier and it wasn't smooth, but staff pulled it together and the meds arrived before my flight. Bit of a worry at first, and I’ve had better runs with Lloyds, but honestly I was relieved and grateful it worked out. Will give them another go.
Long wait, dodgy pack
I waited nearly a month for meds that were meant to arrive quickly — honestly I got fed up. By comparison Xitromeds sent the same thing in five days with proper tracking, which was a relief. Support didn't reply and the parcel arrived battered; tablets were a bit crumbly and felt off, so I haven't used them. Oddly there was a neat leaflet inside, a small unexpected plus.
Update ruined a useful app
Strangely, I found myself swearing at my phone this morning — the app used to be dead simple, now the update has turned it into a faff. I need my tablets (been on them since 2007 for chronic pain) and the app keeps insisting I've never ordered them, then sneakily shoves random bits into my basket. It's frustrating, especially when you're in a hurry, but when it does work it's still handy. Needs fixing though — not hopeless, just annoying and glitchy sometimes.
Slow dispatch, small relief
I wasn’t keen to order straight after P2U took over — I’d heard a few worrying things and had doubts they’d cope. This was for my daily prescription, so delays actually matter. They’d had my script five days, stock showed available, yet the dispatch date kept getting pushed back; add the 24‑hour postage and you’re looking at about a week. So no, my doubts weren’t really eased. When the parcel did arrive the meds were labelled clearly and intact, which was a small, unexpected relief. Probably will change providers.
Nearly-there delivery
apologised, expedited a replacement and it arrived the very next day. That simple fix, and the clear explanation, made all the difference. Bit slow at times, but that proper follow-through won me back.
Cold promise, lukewarm service
order arrived late and the ice packs had melted. Then the discount code I used first time wouldn't apply to the reorder. I complained. No offer to honour it on my second order. They basically told me to pay in full and chase a refund later, or to ask them to bother IT. For a business owned by a big bank that feels sloppy. Left a bit annoyed and moved to a cheaper, more reliable supplier.
Hit-or-miss service
Not something I'd rely on. A mate tipped me about P2U and I signed up because it seemed handy, but mostly it's been frustrating. Phone lines were dead for three days, and before that I spent 40-plus minutes in an AI loop that kept asking the same questions — proper pointless. The merged Lloyds Direct site seems to block their access, so my prescription has been 'ready' for ten days yet they can't dispatch it. When it works, orders and delivery are ok (sometimes it turns up), but it's inconsistent and you do waste time chasing them. It's not catastrophic, but not good either; I'd go to a local chemist sooner if you need something quickly. Not worth the stress.
Nearly ditched my weekly shop
I clicked the link in their email and got a blank page, kept trying and after a few minutes something eventually appeared. Adding things to the basket was awkward — click, nothing, the add-to-order box pops back up, I tried it, then tried it again (and again). I rang customer service because I’m not doing this every week; the automated line didn’t recognise me, wouldn’t pass me on and the queue was 29 so I hung up. Tried logging in on the site later and it just froze on the login screen. In the end the site finally accepted my basket and I placed a backup phone order (bit worried that’ll create two orders). Delivery itself turned up when they said it would and mostly in good nick, so sigh — irritating process but the end result was usable for my weekly groceries.
Stopped fuming when refund hit
my account showed a hold, then a payment when the parcel shipped, so it looked like I’d been charged twice. Support’s explanation about a “pre‑authorisation” felt like an excuse and like they were holding my cash. I complained, and then surprisingly two things happened: the meds arrived earlier than promised and actually helped within a day, and the original hold was released by my bank within about 48 hours — the refund cleared quicker than I’d expected. They’d even included a leaflet, oddly helpful. That’s when I stopped fuming, though the billing practice still needs fixing.
Saved by a backup plan, honestly
I’m glad I ordered early, even though the pharmacy made me scramble — it forced me to have a plan B that actually worked out. I placed the prescription at the end of July because I knew delays happen and at first the app looked fine, tidy and as you’d expect. Then, a week later, the order vanished from the app with no explanation. I followed the instructions to contact customer service and waited. Nothing. The order popped back the next day, then nothing again. By the time two weeks had gone by I was out of meds and genuinely worried. So I ended up buying the same stuff elsewhere at quite a premium — nearly £100 — and, weirdly, that seller got it to me in under 24 hours with loads of tracking updates. That was the shocked-surprise bit: the quick, clear delivery made the whole situation less of a disaster. I kept emailing Pharmacy2U — several times — and all I got back was a generic apology later on. Annoying, yes, and unprofessional on their part to not explain why the order was cancelled, but in the end I had my meds and a lesson: order early and have a backup supplier. So, not a glowing five-star tale, but it didn’t end catastrophically thanks to the alternate seller. If you try them, just be prepared to chase and have a contingency. Lesson learned — and oddly relieved.
Small victory, odd experience
it worked out in the end, but I wouldn’t rely on that website again. I’d rather start with that because otherwise this will sound like a rant, and I don’t want to be that person. I’ve been on regular meds for type 2 diabetes and, after my local chemist shut, this online place used to post my prescriptions no problem — for about two years. I tried a weight loss drug a couple of months ago and it actually helped, which was a relief after years of faffing about. Then on month three the ordering system threw a hissy fit and simply wouldn’t let me buy it. I tried the online chat — three separate times — and each time I was told a pharmacist had refused the sale. Nothing had changed in my medical history, nothing new to report. After so long struggling, being told “no” out of the blue was raw. I popped into my newly reopened local pharmacy and they were happy to help, same price, friendly, quick. A week later the online outfit sent an apology email blaming a “technical issue.” Sure. Maybe it was technical, maybe someone forgot to hit a button, who knows. I’m glad it’s sorted and grateful for the local team who actually sorted it, but I’m a bit fed up with the inconsistency. My advice: if you can, stick with a trustworthy local chemist — at least you can walk in and ask someone real. If you go online, keep receipts and screenshots, because you might need them.
Husband's medicine
I've recently started using this online doctor service and it's been going really well. I ordered my husband's medicine and it was a bit delayed, but they kept us informed so it's fine. Way better than the unreliable service we received from Boots. Pharmacy2u is actually really good, to be honest.
Meds delivered in bad packaging
I ordered some medication from an online pharmacy, and they were really helpful and professional, which was great. The only issue is that the packaging is not very good - it's all dented and taped up by Royal Mail. Sometimes the medication inside is squished too. But apart from that, everything is fine.
Repeat prescription service
I've been using the repeat prescription service from this online doctor for a while now and I have to say, it's been really easy. The process is simple - the doctor sends the prescription to the pharmacy and I get my medication in just a couple of days via Royal Mail. It's great for non-urgent items and for urgent ones, I can always count on my local pharmacies. The best part is the reminder they send when it's time to reorder, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. I recently tried to use a local pharmacy for this service and let's just say, they completely failed at even answering the phone to take my order!
Prescription delivery service
I'm really happy with the prescription delivery service I've been using from this online doctor. It's been a real lifesaver having my medications delivered right to my door without any hassle. I used to get so frustrated with my local chemist because they took forever to prepare my prescriptions. The reminders for repeat prescriptions have been so useful in making sure I never run out of my important medication.
First-time user, excellent service, great communication, Royal Mail delivery, trackable parcel
I recently tried out an online doctor service for the first time and I've got to say, I was really impressed with the whole thing. The pharmacy kept me in the loop every step of the way with great communication. The delivery from Royal Mail was quick and being able to track my parcel was a nice touch. I'll definitely be using this service again down the line.
