the dust cover fits neatly and the tonearm setup wasn’t a nightmare; someone had done a decent job packing it. Now for the sour bit. The courier left the box in the communal hallway even though I’d buzzed him in and was coming downstairs. He didn’t hang about. There was a dent and a hole in the outer box, and he even took a photo as proof — awkward. Panic moment, naturally, but after a careful check the deck itself was fine, thankfully. So overall: TVATech were spot on, friendly service, good price and quick, I’ll buy from them again. Just wish the delivery chap had taken the extra two minutes. Small mercy that the turntable survived.
It's doing what I needed
I bought the Roxel Pulse hi‑fi after a couple of weeks of looking — I wasn't convinced an all‑in‑one would handle my leaning towards vinyl and streaming, and I'm not great with tech. Ordering went smoothly and the unit turned up earlier than expected. Initial setup took a few minutes (Wi‑Fi pairing and Bluetooth, my fault for rushing) but once done it's been... good. DAB is clear, CD and MP3 playback are reliable for background music while I cook, and the turntable hook-up is literally one button — and the surprise was how clean old vinyl sounds, better than I expected. Service replies were quick when I asked a couple of questions. Overall glad I took the risk; a practical, no-nonsense unit. It's become the default for mornings and evenings in my flat.
