A mate at work pointed me to Spectrum Boutique and I popped in a few weeks ago; wasn’t expecting much but left oddly pleased. The toys themselves feel proper — soft silicone, good weight, no nasty seams — and they’re clearly body-safe, which made me relax straight away. Tried one at home the same evening; simple to use, comfortable, not fiddly. The shop is laid out in a non-binary, useful way, which I appreciated, and Zoe was patient and helpful without being pushy. Prices sit well against other places; only tricky bit was choosing, so many decent options.
Service redeemed a shaky start
they expedited the shipment and added a coupon. I’ve had worse with other firms, where you get vague boilerplate and no follow-up, so that stood out. Not perfect — the site should've shown the right status earlier — but the customer service and faster delivery made it all right in the end.
Almost bailed, glad I didn't
no order confirmation, no tracking, nada until I grumbled online. They finally replied after I left an annoyed review, claiming they'd emailed several times — which they hadn't, I checked. It took about four emails and that public nudge before I had an order number. Annoying, yes, but at least the product's ace. Bit of a mixed bag, emotionally a relief, begrudgingly pleased.
Reliable support, surprisingly helpful
By the time I saw the fault I’d already taken the photos and sent them off — that was a few weeks after I first started using the item. I emailed support and heard back the same day from Carly, which was the main thing that stood out. No fluff, an apology, a store credit and a short list of similar items to try instead, with brief notes on what might avoid the problem next time. I wasn't expecting recommendations, just a refund, so that was a pleasant surprise. First impression of the product itself was fine, packaging intact, but the defect was annoying. The aftercare made up for it; it's why I’ll order again, albeit a bit more cautiously. Practical, prompt and not overly salesy
