Small screen, great shop

    That brief moment of hope

I was halfway through another angry message when I remembered the day the replacement actually arrived — weirdly that’s when I felt okay about the whole thing. Bought a smartwatch for my wife, had to send the first one back within five months and they did send a replacement in about three months, which felt promising. Then it just stopped charging again. I rang them, they asked for another return, then silence; now they insist they never received it and won’t replace. Bit of a rollercoaster, really.

Handy for alerts, not for health

Halfway through my first long walk I noticed the watch buzzing with a notification — exactly the sort of hands‑free nudge I bought it for. A colleague had tipped me off about this budget Reflex model and I grabbed one to see if it could replace keeping my phone in my hand. The screen is easy enough to read and the strap sits comfortably, though it’s a tad stiff at first. Heart‑rate and O2 readings are hit‑and‑miss compared with my fingertip oximeter — not reliable for anything medical. Where it earns points is timekeeping, Bluetooth alerts and a small internal speaker that’s perfectly usable if you leave your phone in a pocket. All in all, useful but limited.

    Round two, same story

no sleep or heart-rate logs, and steps are wildly wrong. It’s demotivating to see 10k in your head and 2,800 on the screen. Contacting customer service felt like going in circles, they helped little and I ended up out of pocket — feels a lot like throwing £25 away. If you’re thinking of this, maybe try one on first or ask for a full test; my old cheap Radley lasted years, so cheaper isn’t always rubbish.

    Small screen, great shop

It was a drizzly Saturday when the parcel arrived. I unboxed it at once and honestly liked the look. Sleek and light. I was excited and charged it for an hour, then strapped it on and went for a quick walk to test notifications. The delivery was fast and spot on. The store rang me the next day to check I was happy and they were genuinely helpful. Proper customer service. Polite, patient and quick on email. I even swapped models in person without any drama. Trouble is, the watch itself is a bit of a mixed bag. Turned on notifications and found I couldn’t have just alerts without accepting calls on the wrist too. It’s all or nothing, which I didn’t want. I tried the round-screen model, hoping that would help. It looks smart, but the actual display area feels tiny and messages pop up late. The battery indicator on the watch and the app don’t agree either. That annoyed me. Returns are a hassle because it seems to need mailing abroad, which is a pain. Still, I’ve got to praise the shop and delivery team. They made everything simple and quick on their end. I’m pleased with how they handled things, even if the gadget didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Odd start but glad it arrived in the end

the product itself is okay and I’m genuinely happy it worked out, but their communication and delivery handling left a lot to be desired. It’s the sort of service that makes you hesitant to recommend them even though the item did turn up. If you see one in-store, maybe buy there or be prepared for a bit of a faff if you go direct. I’d use them again only if they’ve fixed their customer service — and I’d keep screenshots of everything, just in case.
