shopping on a US site that sometimes blocks non-US cards (annoying) and streaming the odd show when travelling. In day-to-day life it’s been useful — I work from cafés and on trains a fair bit, so having something that masks my connection is handy and, 80% of the time, it just does the job without me thinking about it. That alone saved me stress a few times, so points for that.
