By the time they replied I'd already missed a week of programmes — I needed iPlayer because I'd just moved back from abroad and was laid up with a dodgy back, so staying in and watching familiar shows mattered. The VPN wouldn't get into BBC iPlayer and for ages there was apparently only one UK server, which is daft. Support said they'd sort it in 24 hours; that stretched out over a week, but to be fair they did eventually fix the server issue after a delay. Delivery of the fix was clunky, messages came late and sometimes unclear, but when it worked it worked fine. Not flawless — connection drops now and then — but usable. I'm keeping an eye on it; if it goes bad again I'll be back to a low rating, but for now it's moved up from rubbish to okay.
