an automated incoming SMS did appear once, but outbound messages never worked, not in the cycle. Support kept saying the number was 'actively used' so no refund, which felt like a technicality to dodge responsibility. Their 'cancel anytime' promise reads differently. I've had smoother dealings with other providers, so I left bemused, though at least billing stopped, and no clear explanation.
Cup of tea and the silent number
Sat down with a cup of tea and a decent dose of scepticism before buying — I thought the listing said "SMS-capable", but I already half suspected toll-free lines can be picky. Still, I clicked buy. In use the number handled calls fine but flat-out refused the texts I needed. Support's reply was to close the case and say refunds aren't on the table; they put it on me. So, not ideal. It's usable for some things, not what I paid for, and the checkout hardly warns you. If you're after SMS reliability, be wary and maybe ask first. I wish they'd be clearer or actually refund when it fails — small but annoying really.
Billing farce, sadly
I thought I’d give the service a go but the whole thing felt clunky from the off — the app was slow, menus jumped around and nothing felt tidy. After a month I decided enough and cancelled the subscription, which I checked was cancelled, yes. So when an email popped up about a failed payment I rolled my eyes, assumed it was a glitch and left it. A week later a charge hits my card. I messaged support straight away and the chap (PJ) insisted I hadn’t cancelled. I did, I did. They walked me through the same cancellation page and made me cancel again. Charming. They then refused to refund the unauthorised charge, so I blocked any further payments from my end. Annoying because the product itself had promise — when it worked it was decent — but the billing and customer side? Sloppy and stressful. Won’t trust them for anything important; learnt my lesson, sadly.
Saved my number, with caveats
they rescued my number and I’d use them again, though it wasn’t all smooth sailing. I needed TossableDigits because a prepaid mobile operator refused to release my number — proper Kafka stuff — and I was stressed, needed it for work and couldn’t wait. From the off their live chat people actually cared and walked me through the whole mess, pushing the port, rejecting and re-submitting when the other side messed up. That human support really made the difference; automated systems alone wouldn’t have fixed it. Parking the number afterwards is simple and reliable, security feels solid (two‑factor and sensible checks), and I like that the systems generally do what they say. My gripe? The website and some screens felt a bit clunky and I had to repeat a few things to support, which was annoying in the moment — nothing critical, just time lost. Price is fair but not rock‑bottom. Emotionally I went from frantic to honestly relieved, so yes, I’ll renew, but I’m keeping one eye on UI improvements.
Finally sorted, but what a palaver
it ended up working, and I’m relieved about that, but it was a frustrating start. I bought the plan on 22 March 2025 to use the International Forwarding to Saudi Arabia and at first everything looked straightforward. I submitted the details straight away and then waited — and waited. After about 17 days with no activation and no proper replies I started chasing them via email and the support portal. That felt ignored for a while, which annoyed me, but to be fair once I pushed a bit someone did pick it up, apologised and enabled the feature within a couple of days. They also offered a small credit for the hassle, which I appreciated. My first impression was that the system was fine but the communication was patchy; having it finally sorted left me happy I didn’t give up. So, would I recommend them? If you need something urgent don’t rely on quick responses, but if you can wait they seem willing to fix things once contacted.
Number porting made easy
the app is tidy and simple, which I didn't expect. The few times I needed help, customer support was quick and polite, even fixed something the same day. Prices feel fair. Small niggles with setup now and then but nothing major. Really makes working abroad far less faff. Highly recommended if you need to keep a local number while overseas.
