Alton Towers trip
I recently went to Alton Towers for my birthday and I had booked the tickets way back in January. But can you believe it - last week I checked and the price had dropped by £140! I was absolutely fuming, so I decided to give them a call and make a complaint. It's been over a week now and I still haven't heard anything back. Not cool at all, guys.
Weekend stay at Woodland Terrace
My family and I recently stayed at Woodland Terrace for a few days and we absolutely loved it! The service at Crooked Spoon was fantastic, from the delicious starters to the mouth-watering desserts. The cheese board we had with a bottle of wine was the perfect finishing touch! A big thank you to the Head chef and all the other chefs for making our experience so special.
Alton Towers visit during fireworks
I had a really good time at Alton Towers during the fireworks display. I went on Friday and Saturday, managed to go on quite a few rides even though I had to wait a long time. The staff were all really nice, but one employee on RITA stood out as they went above and beyond. The food was a bit pricey, but I guess that's normal for a resort. The fireworks were amazing, I would definitely say it's worth checking out. However, the hotel room (Moon Voyage) was a bit disappointing. I paid £380 for one night and didn't feel like it was worth it. There were stains on the bathroom tiles, the Xbox controller didn't work, and the heater was really loud - I would have expected these things to be sorted for that price. The breakfast was okay, and the staff were nice. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the money, I might try a different one next time.
Family day out
The customer service we received was absolutely outstanding, from the moment we booked to when we checked in, everything went really smoothly without any hiccups at all. The staff were so friendly and helpful, which really made the whole experience enjoyable for both the kids and us adults. The booking process was really easy and straightforward, they even sent us gentle reminders and countdowns to make sure we didn't forget. The accommodation itself was just perfect and everything was seamless, allowing us to have a really comfortable stay. The kids had an absolute blast and enjoyed every single moment of our visit. We were actually torn between choosing this place or a competitor, but we are so happy that we decided to come here. We will definitely be back in the future for sure.
Group visit to theme park
Arranging our group trip to the theme park was really straightforward thanks to the friendly hotel staff who welcomed us when we arrived and helped us with our big group of 12. Even though we didn't ask for anything special, they made sure we had a good time. However, the food at the park's restaurants wasn't great and was quite expensive. Because of this, we decided to eat out of the park on the second evening.
