Trip to Disney with Eurostar
My family and I recently booked a trip to Disney with Eurostar through this company. We had two separate bookings and when we tried to link them together, we were informed that only the hotel could be linked, not the Eurostar tickets. We received our Eurostar tickets a week ago, only to discover three weeks before travelling that we were all placed on separate coaches. When we called the company for assistance, we were met with unhelpful responses and were basically told that there was nothing they could do about our seating arrangements. Despite spending a total of £8k, we were unable to be seated together, which put a damper on what should have been an exciting holiday for my grandkids. In conclusion, booking Eurostar with this company was a mistake, as they lack control over seating arrangements and show little empathy when customers call for help.
Disappointing first-time experience
My recent experience with holiday bookings was really frustrating. Right from the start, there were so many problems that made me feel really let down. The travel company and the hotel didn't seem to be on the same page at all, which resulted in false promises like a free breakfast buffet and no info about room service for pets. I also had trouble trying to connect my fast pass to tickets, and even when I finally managed it, it still wouldn't work at the park. It was a pain having to keep showing my phone confirmation, and I never got my luggage tags like they said I would. Overall, it was just one thing after another that showed me they didn't really care about customers like me. So, I wouldn't recommend their services and I won't be using them again in the future.
Disneyland Paris trip with EasyJet flight
We booked our holiday to Disneyland Paris through a travel company which included an EasyJet flight. Unfortunately, our flight got delayed by 12 hours, so we ended up losing a whole day of our trip. However, the travel company really went out of their way to help us out. They quickly let us know about the delay, reassured us that they were there to help if we needed anything, and even offered us a refund of over £200 for the inconvenience. The customer service we received every step of the way was top-notch, from when we first booked the trip to when they handled the delay. Their professionalism and eagerness to help were really impressive.
Lake view room disappointment
I was pretty pleased with my time at Disney, but I gotta say, I was a bit gutted when I forked out extra for a lake view room and all I got was a rubbish view of the hotel from my window. The photos on the website were a bit misleading, so I felt a bit disappointed and irritated about the whole thing.
Full package including flights, Disney hotel, and tickets
I felt really let down by my experience booking our family trip to Orlando through this agency. I thought I had covered everything by getting a full package deal with flights, a Disney hotel, and tickets. But then we realised that we didn't have assigned seats on our Aer Lingus flights, which is a real pain. I made sure to book early and pay everything on time, yet now I'm worried that my kids might not be seated with us. It's so annoying because they never mentioned this in their terms and conditions, so it took me by surprise and left me feeling really frustrated. I should have just booked directly with the airline to avoid all this hassle.
Disney Holidays booking
I recently booked a holiday with this company and it was honestly great! The staff were really friendly and helpful whenever we had any issues. The only downside was the meal plan booking, as it only displayed the expensive character restaurants which we weren't aware of. However, overall the customer service was fantastic and I would definitely recommend my family to book with them too!
Paris hotel package with train and park tickets
I was really impressed by the Paris hotel package we got, it came with train and park tickets. The Sequoia hotel was perfect for our stay, especially with the swimming pool - it really added that extra touch of relaxation to our trip. I did find the process of updating tickets to the Disney app a bit confusing at first, but the staff were great at explaining that it could only be done a few days before our travel date. They also told us that we didn't need a code on the app if we booked a hotel package, as we would get a Magic Pass at the hotel when we checked in. Overall, I thought the organization and efficiency of the package was really impressive and I'd definitely recommend it to others.
Booking experience
I booked a holiday with this company recently and to be honest, I wasn't too happy with how long I had to wait. The booking itself was easy enough, but it took ages to get through to someone. Plus, the advice they gave me wasn't very helpful and actually kind of misleading. I've had better experiences with other companies before, so I might look elsewhere next time.
Travel package.
I won't be booking with this company again. We only did this time to book travel as a package, but it was a waste of time. It would have been much better and less stressful to just go to the park's website and book everything separately. The customer service is terrible - I've had to call multiple times to ask simple questions or make changes to my booking, and each time I've been put on hold for over an hour. As I'm writing this review, I've been on hold for a whopping 1 hour and 22 minutes! Disney holidays are supposed to be magical, not stressful.
Disneyland Paris holiday
I went ahead and booked a holiday to Disneyland Paris for me and my family in September. Everything was going well until we made the decision to upgrade our hotel in January. Unfortunately, by doing so, we lost our free breakfast meal plan which was a real downer. When I reached out to them for help, they were unable to assist me at all. I mean, seriously, I had even paid extra money in the first place! Their customer service was absolutely awful and it took an eternity to actually speak to someone. It felt like they didn't even care about what I was explaining. Oh well, I definitely won't be booking with them in the future.
Refund delay due to COVID-19
I had a really bad time dealing with this company when I tried to get a refund for a holiday that got cancelled because of COVID-19. We rescheduled our trip for September, but it's now July and we still haven't got our money back. On top of that, they charge £20 every time you call them, which is a lot of money my friend had to spend trying to sort this out. The way they've been ignoring us and not telling us what's going on is just terrible and not OK at all.
Booking Disney holiday
My experience booking a Disney holiday was terrible. I had so many issues trying to make payment, and despite using different cards, addresses, and card types, nothing seemed to work. The customer service was awful, blaming my bank for the payment problems instead of admitting their own system faults. It was really frustrating to deal with, especially as my family members also struggled to make payments. After days of delays and long international phone calls, I finally managed to pay with someone else's card, but then found out my tickets were not linked properly in the Disney app. The chat feature was no help in fixing this, so I had to spend even more time on hold to speak with an agent who couldn't even see my booking details. It was a complete nightmare, and Disney did nothing to make it right. I regret booking with them and won't do it again.
Booked Disney trip for cashback
I booked a trip to Disney Holidays, hoping to get some cashback like the adverts on the telly promised. However, I waited and waited for the cashback to come through, only to be told that they had changed their mind and wouldn't be giving me any. It felt like a total scam!
My holiday was a total disaster
My holiday was a disaster because my flights got all messed up and I ended up losing a whole day of fun. I called the airline to sort it out and they said they could give me a voucher for the delay, but it would only be valid for Disney, which I think is pretty stupid.
park tickets for a once in a lifetime trip
I had a really terrible experience with the customer service team. They were totally unhelpful when we asked to change the dates of our £1500 park tickets for our family holiday. We just wanted to move the dates to next year, but they didn't seem to care at all. We've been saving up for this holiday for a long time, and it's a special trip for us and our daughter. The way they treated us was really disappointing. We feel like they didn't care about our situation at all. We're going to get in touch with our credit card company and book our holiday somewhere else.
Booking Disney Holidays
The response time is absolutely terrible, hardly any updates, European customers have to wait for ages. When you email them, it takes at least a week to hear back. On top of that, they charge hefty cancellation fees even with all the COVID craziness and changing travel rules. You're better off booking directly through Disney US or using a VPN.
December holiday booking
I've just booked a holiday for December with this company and I have to say, I was really let down by their customer service. The hotel I had booked is closed at the moment, and other companies are transferring customers to different places at no extra cost. However, when I contacted this company to talk about it, they just brushed me off and even suggested that I was making it up, despite me having proof to back up my situation. All in all, based on my experience, I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company.
Disney holiday package
Oh my goodness, my holiday experience was absolutely fantastic, even though we weren't able to actually go on the holiday due to the silly pandemic. Booking was a breeze, and I was really looking forward to the free Disney Dining Plan at the Caribbean Beach resort, although unfortunately, we didn't get to take advantage of it this year. The customer service was amazing, and they quickly gave us a refund with just a simple phone call. I'm really excited to book with them again soon!
Cancelled Disney Cruise
I had a big problem in the family and had to cancel our planned Disney Cruise. Disney Cruise said they would give a full refund, but Disney travel didn't stick to it. I emailed them several times as they told me to, but didn't get any reply. I even phoned Disney Cruises and they said we could get a refund if Disney Travel would just talk to them. In the end, only some of us in the family got a refund. We're pensioners and it wouldn't have made sense for us to go on the cruise without the rest of our family.
2 night 3 day trip to Disneyland Paris
My recent experience trying to book a trip to Disneyland Paris through WDTC turned into an absolute nightmare. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until I got to St. Pancras and found out that there was a problem with my train tickets. I tried my best to sort it out, but in the end, I had to fork out an extra 390 euros for new one-way tickets because the ones WDTC said were included didn't actually exist. It was a real hassle and made me feel like I'd been taken advantage of and let down by Disney.
