a promo code didn’t apply first time and I had to double-check a couple of details, but it was all fixed without drama. Saved me hopping between loads of sites. Tip: check your spam and sign up for alerts if you’re after deals.
Birthday plans left hanging
Was supposed to be a tidy birthday treat with friends. I booked a Crystal Maze slot because I fancied something silly after a year of back pain and stress. A few days before, several of us got emails saying they'd messed up and refunds were on the way. Some mates never got that message. No alternative was offered, no compensation. I ended up chasing them and then texting people myself to try and rebook. Technical things happen, sure, but it's how you fix them that matters. A decent company would have rebooked everyone or phoned us. Felt a bit small and annoyed — not the memory I wanted. Delivery of info was messy and customer service didn't help much.
Outside the Dungeons
Standing outside the London Dungeon with two small faces looking up at me — that’s the image I keep replaying. I’d booked what felt like a bargain for Christmas, paid for tickets, train and a hotel, and at first I was dead pleased with the deal. Then the staff told us the tickets had been cancelled and we’d need to buy new ones on the door. The worst bit was the communication black hole — apparently emails and WhatsApps went out, but nothing ever reached me, so we had no warning. After a few annoyed calls the company did sort a refund, which I’m grateful for, but it didn’t bring back the day or the lost earnings (both of us are self-employed). So yes, glad the money was eventually recovered, but it left a sour taste and two disappointed kids. Could’ve been handled much better, especially the messaging.
Quietly legit
Bottom line, it's genuine — proper family ticket discounts for plenty of attractions; I was wary at first but bookings, prices were solid.
Quick, a bit messy
Booked these for a family weekend outing — decent price and quick email delivery, though one barcode was glitchy
Halfway fix
Halfway through the move I realised the seat pad took pressure off my lower back; Heidi sorted the mix-up quickly, not perfect fit but it did job.
Decent bargain
Spotted it online after mate tipped me — bought for £99, e-ticket worked, entry quick but queueing was messy.
Bit awkward, ended well
Spotted their ad on a mate’s recommendation, rang to cancel — Mark was polite, a bit of a hard sell at first, but in the end it felt straightforward, email arrived saying 'Goodbye', so relieved.
Little win for us
Thought it was a gimmick, but picniq knocked £24 off our Warwick Castle tickets for four — nice. Needed the saving after a pricey weekend; we’re off to Dudley next week.
Tenner-winning moment
easy. That moment at checkout when I realised I’d saved a tenner, lovely little win.
Refund didn't match website
I booked Disneyland tickets with a picnic package for €911, cancelled two weeks before for health reasons and got €874 back. Website said full refund, annoyed but refund arrived fast.
No-fuss booking
Booked our Disneyland Paris tickets through them and, honestly, it was a relief. Super easy site, no faff, emails matched exactly, and I’m properly glad it ran smoothly — after a few dodgy experiences elsewhere.
Little win with a family ticket
try the first slot in the morning. Will use them again, I think, honestly.
Booked again with confidence
Overall, no fuss and I'd use them again. Had to cancel a couple of years ago, got a full refund with minimal hassle, so rebooked since. Now sorting tickets for nine to Disneyland Paris for two days — simple process.
Saved a few quid
Booked through this site to take the kids to Disneyland Paris for three days — two parks — because the tickets were noticeably cheaper than the others I checked. Delivery was quick and what really helped was how smoothly I could link the tickets to my Disneyland account, no faff, just link and scan at the gates. Park-hopping worked fine and the weekend felt properly effortless, which made family life so much easier.
Sorted by Andy, with a hiccup
I’d use Picniq again — mainly because Andy sorted a proper mess for us, even if it wasn’t flawless. A mate on a London Facebook group first mentioned them, so we booked two attractions. The booking process and ticket emails were quick and reasonably cheap, all quite seamless. We did hit a snag when lunch overran by about an hour; Andy managed to rebook our second slot within roughly 1h15, helpful and calm. Only gripe: some timings in the emails were a tad unclear. Overall, pleased.
Open tickets saved the day
I’d use Picniq again — mainly because the open-date tickets took the stress out of a family weekend. We used it for a Saturday trip with two kids; not being stuck to a timeslot meant we could turn up when everyone was ready, which really helped. It cut about £10–15 off what we’d have paid direct. You do lose the free return Silverstone sometimes offers, but honestly one visit was enough for us. Booking was quick, confirmations popped through straight away and there was even a reminder email that surprised me in a good way. Handy for regular family days out.
Not worth the extra charge
being billed twice instead of owning the mistake. No refund, no proper explanation, and a curt attitude the whole time. I've had mixed experiences at small salons before, some decent, some rubbish, but this felt like neither care nor value. Wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it. Still slightly annoyed, really.
Quick and easy savings
It was really easy to save money on our trip to the wonderful animal park! We didn't have to fuss with any tricky vouchers or codes, just bought our tickets and received an email with a code to use at the ticket booth. It was so handy!
Family day trip bookings
I've just come across this website and I must say, I've been really impressed with how easy it is to use and the amazing deals they have. Being a new parent and not really experienced in planning day trips with kids, I found it super helpful and budget-friendly. We booked a trip to a popular attraction through the site and we had an absolute blast. I've already sorted out more trips for the summer holidays and I'll definitely be using this website again in the future.
About Picniq
Parenting has become much more pressured in this 21st century. A lot of parents have to work round the clock or even work away from home to make ends meet for their family. They work hard and devote all their time to work, all in a bid to have a good share of the resources that are not readily available. As such, the more they devote time to their work, the more they become strangers at home. Even when they have the time to spare, most of them do not know what activities to involve in with their children to bridge the gap between them. Children whose emotional needs are not met by their parents sometimes grow up to become destabilised members of society. They have terrible self-esteem and they suck at being normal individuals. Some even go-ahead to become social miscreants that become the undoing of others in the society, not to talk of those who were abused in their childhood. They become serial abusers. They inflict pain on others because they once experienced pain and are in pains. Rather than heal, they are only driven deeper into the spiral of pain and neglect. The effects of parents not spending enough time with their children or not satisfying their emotional needs are very devastating. It is very important to plan and practice good parenting. If you want to spend time with your family and you want it to be memorable, you could consider Picniq. However, you should read reviews of Picniq here to know if they have been efficient in helping parents plan a great time out with their children.
