Family visit, Great Views, Fast Queues
I went to the London Eye with my family the other day, and it was really fantastic. I thought we would have to wait for ages in a boring queue, but it actually moved quite quickly, which was a nice surprise. The prices were a bit steep, but I knew it would be popular, so I was prepared for that. The views of London from the top were absolutely stunning though, and made it all worth it. It was amazing to see all the famous landmarks from up high. We had plenty of time to enjoy the views during the 30-minute ride, and there were benches and interactive stuff in the pods, which made it even better. I was really impressed with the whole experience and would definitely recommend it to any families looking for a fun day out.
River cruise and commentary
I went on a river cruise down the Thames recently and I have to say it was absolutely lovely. The cruise was really well put together, giving us a nice smooth ride while we took in the stunning views of the city. What really impressed me was the guide's commentary - he knew so much about the landmarks we passed and he had a great sense of humour which made the whole trip more fun. It really kept us engaged and entertained. And I appreciated having an indoor area to go to if the weather turned bad. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I would definitely recommend to others.
Combination ticket of river cruise and attraction
The ticket we got for both the river cruise and the attraction was absolutely brilliant. The cruise itself was such a nice way to take in the city from a new angle, and going on the London Eye was a real classic. Tim, the guy showing us around on the boat, was the absolute best part of the day. He didn't just make it fun, but he knew so much about all the sights along the river. It was great to have a real person guiding us, rather than just listening to a recording. Tim's energy and jokes really made the whole thing special and unforgettable.
Ticket purchase
The experience at the London Eye was absolutely amazing. The views over the Thames were so beautiful and I'll never forget them. I also thought the ticketing service was really quick and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the toilets were in the ticket office. The fact that they made sure no one brought food on the ride also helped keep the place really clean for everyone. I would definitely suggest this experience to anyone who wants a special view of London's famous landmarks.
Ticket purchase
The audio guide at London Eye was so loud and irritating when I went. It was really off-putting and made it hard to fully relax and take in the whole experience. It sort of ruined the vibe of the place for me.
MULTIPLE TICKET DISAPPOINTMENT
Buying a combined ticket for the London Eye and river cruise turned out to be a nightmare. I thought I was being clever by planning in advance and getting everything sorted, but it all went pear-shaped. The cruise had a set time, but my London Eye booking needed to be changed. Basically, I couldn't get a spot for the next 5 days. And guess what? No chance of a refund! It's like they think you can just magically fit it in whenever, as if people don't have commitments or can't just drop everything. Honestly, it's a con and a total waste of money.
Combined river cruise and London Eye
I recently did a river cruise and visited the famous London Eye, and it was such a great experience. Our guide, Luke, was amazing. He not only sorted out the queues but also gave us a really interesting tour of London's landmarks. The river cruise was a lovely way to see the city from a different angle, and the view from the London Eye, especially at night, was just stunning. I definitely suggest checking out both activities, just make sure you plan your timings right.
Fast-track entrance
When I got to the London Eye early, I was really chuffed that the staff let me skip the queue and get on the ride quicker. This gave me extra time to check out the area and really enjoy my day out. The pods weren't too packed, so I could move around and snap some photos without feeling squished. All in all, it was a cracking experience. And to top it off, the ice cream at the nearby stall was good value for money and absolutely delicious.
Ticket purchase online
The London Eye is such a fantastic spot for tourists, giving you stunning views of the city from up high. But I reckon it could have been even more enjoyable if there was someone talking us through all the landmarks we could see from the pod. Also, there wasn't much info about using the fast-track entrance for disabled ticket holders, which would have been handy to know before we got there.
London Eye and river cruise combo
My family and I decided to go for the package deal that included the London Eye and river cruise. It was such a wonderful experience watching the sun go down over London from the London Eye. The views were truly stunning and I would highly recommend it, at least once in your life. The London Eye is actually a lot taller than you might imagine and gives you a really special view of the city.
Reduced price family ticket
The website said we could get cheaper family tickets for the London Eye. But when we tried to book over the holidays, they told us the offer wasn't valid. They didn't mention this exception on the site, so it was really frustrating and disappointing for us.
Fast track ticket purchase
I bought a fast track ticket for the London Eye and honestly, it was totally worth it. The view from the top was amazing - definitely a must-see if you're in London. But let me tell you, the queues for the regular tickets were crazy long, so I'd really suggest splashing out on a fast track ticket to avoid the wait.
Went to London Eye
Me and my mates went to the London Eye and it was really not good. The staff were completely rude, the queues were way too long, and our tickets were all messed up. It was a complete disaster and we won't be going back there again, for sure.
Fast track ticket
I thought that splashing out on the fast track ticket would mean I wouldn't have to wait around, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. Even after shelling out extra money, I still found myself queuing up with all the other folks. What a waste of cash! The view was nice and all, but definitely not worth the additional cost for fast track. I've got to admit, I felt proper conned!
My London Eye experience.
My trip to the London Eye was an absolute nightmare. I mean, the people working there were just so rude and unhelpful, it really set the tone for the whole visit. And don't even get me started on the stink of the river in the heat of summer - it was just overwhelming and gross. Honestly, my experience at the London Eye was terrible, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Ticket and boat cruise
I had an amazing day out in London with my family. We went on the London Eye and also took a boat cruise. It was so much fun and we had a great time. The guide on the boat, Chris, was really nice and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She was awesome!
Ticket purchase
I was really gutted with my attempt to go on the London Eye. The weather was no good for a ride, so I tried to change my booking, but the chat system wasn't working. When I eventually got through to a customer service rep, they wouldn't give me a refund or help me pick a new date. This poor customer service and lack of communication made me irritated and left me out of pocket. I wouldn't suggest giving your cash to this company if you're after a hassle-free and professional experience.
'London Eye' visit
Our trip to the London Eye was really disappointing and frustrating. The whole experience was a bit of a mess, with not much in the way of customer service. We'd booked our tickets in advance for a certain time, but we ended up waiting in line for over an hour and fifteen minutes, throwing off our whole day's plans. It was a surprise that things were so chaotic at an attraction that's been around for over twenty years and isn't exactly cheap. To top it off, the staff even gave us some old discount vouchers for other places, which just made things even more annoying.
Multi-buy ticket purchase
I made the mistake of buying a ticket package for three attractions, which included the London Eye, without checking if they were available first. So when I tried to book a slot for the London Dungeon on the day we were going, turns out there were no slots left, even though the website said there were. It completely ruined our weekend in London before we had even left. Seems like lots of other people have had the same problem too.
