Hebridean Tour May 2023
My sister and I took a coach tour of the Hebrides from 15-20 May 2023 with Newmarket Holidays and we had a wonderful time. The views of the mountains, lochs, waterfalls and surrounding countryside were breathtaking.
Our tour guide, Frances, was very informative and chatty and we learned an awful lot about Scotland and its heritage in the week we were there. We visited so many sites from castles to gardens, lochs, brochs and standing stones. The places we visited far outweighed what we were expecting and we were thrilled that Frances had gone to so much trouble to organise such a busy itinerary.
Our driver, Christine, was wonderful. She was a very careful and skilled driver and made sure we never got wet! She was professional, patient, light-hearted and helpful and generally put us all in a good holiday mood every time we went out.
I can't thank Newmarket and Maynes Coaches enough for arranging our holiday and for Frances and Christine for putting two cherries on the top.Classical Spain May 2024
We had an amazing time on our Classical Spain tour! Our tour manager, Jude, was absolutely brilliant. This was our first group tour and we were really pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. Jude made the whole experience unforgettable with her charm, wit, and extensive knowledge. The hotel in Antequera was lovely, with friendly staff, great amenities, and delicious food in a beautiful location. The itinerary was full of exciting stops in Seville, Cordoba, and Granada, giving us a taste of each city and leaving us wanting more. Jude went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we had the best possible experience. A big thank you to Newmarket Holidays for a fantastic trip and an even bigger thank you to Jude for making it all the more special!
Escorted tour to Seville Granada
My trip to Seville, Granada, and classic Spain was absolutely incredible. Our tour guide, Jude, was amazing - she really made sure that everyone had an unforgettable experience. Her care and professionalism added so much to our holiday, and I really appreciate her knowledge and dedication to making sure we saw the best of each destination. The trip was well-planned, allowing us to explore Seville, Granada, and other parts of Spain to the fullest. The hotels we stayed in were cosy and well-located, which made it easy for us to get around and enjoy our time there. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the beauty of Spain.
Trip to Spain and Little Trains of the Pyrenees
I was starting to feel a bit worried because my trip to Spain was coming up in less than a week, and I hadn't heard anything from the company. So, I thought I'd give them a ring and luckily managed to speak to Lisa. She was a real lifesaver! Lisa quickly emailed me all the important documents, like my boarding pass and air ticket. I already had some info from when I paid the rest of the money and booked that extra boat trip, but Lisa made sure I had everything I required. I'm really grateful for her patience and the fantastic service she gave. Thanks a lot, Lisa!
Lake Como holiday
Our recent trip to Lake Como was truly unforgettable, all thanks to our amazing tour manager, Eleanora Cipollina. Her in-depth knowledge of the area and friendly nature really made our trip special. We stayed at the Hotel Bazzoni, which had stunning views of Lake Como and was conveniently located near a Ferry Terminal for easy exploration. The only downside was that the hotel's pool area could use a bit of sprucing up. However, despite this small hiccup, our overall experience on our 4th tour with the company was absolutely delightful.
Lake Como tour with excellent guide
Our trip to Lake Como was absolutely amazing, all thanks to our superb tour guide, Eleonora Cipollina. She made the whole experience come alive with her incredible knowledge and love for the area. Eleonora really went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of and kept entertained, and her great sense of humour was a bonus. The only things that could have been better were the lack of tea/coffee in our room and the slightly limited choices on the dinner menu.
Lake Como holiday
Our Lake Como holiday itinerary was wonderful, we had 3 planned excursions which took us exactly where we wanted to go. We chose to pass on the extra tours to have more free time. The hotel we stayed at, Bazzoni, was superbly located for exploring the lake. Our Italian tour manager, Ellie, was amazing - she was really lovely, patient, and helpful. The only downside was the hurried evening meals at the hotel, the food wasn't always hot. However, breakfast was tasty with plenty of options!
My trip to Classical Spain
Oh my goodness, so I went on this trip to Classical Spain and it was really intense with all the hot weather and everything, but it was so great. Our guide was this lady called Jude and she was absolutely fantastic. Really funny, so helpful, and just made the whole trip incredible. She knew everything about all the places we visited and kept us entertained on the bus. It felt like having a cool aunt with us the whole time. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it!
Holiday booking process
I booked a holiday with this company not long ago, and I must say, it was a breeze. The website laid out everything that came with the holiday package, and I managed to input a discount code I got from the internet without any trouble. But then, surprise surprise, the company sent me a discount code of the exact same amount via email. Just a heads up, if you sign up with them and share your email, you might snag yourself a sweet discount code if you're willing to wait a bit.
Excellent Customer Service
I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Neo during my recent purchase, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the service he gave. Neo knew all about the products and services available, and he was really helpful in answering all my questions. He was patient and had a good sense of humour which made the whole experience enjoyable. I really value the great customer service that Neo provided, and I want to thank him for being so professional and dedicated.
Salzburg and Austrian Alps tour
Our trip to Salzburg and the Austrian Alps was really amazing. We stayed at Haus Andreas, where the food cooked by chef Gabor was delicious. Our guide Tony was very informative and made sure our daily activities went well. The best part was the day at the Hintertux glacier - it was unforgettable. A big thank you to our driver Christophe for being so nice and helpful during the whole week.
Hotel booking issue
I've just booked a hotel with this company and realised that they forgot to include my partner's name on the reservation. I got in touch with customer service to sort out the error. Luckily, I spoke to Chris, who was very helpful and managed to swiftly update the booking with the right details.
Ancient Greece trip
I recently went on a trip to Ancient Greece with my family and we had an awesome time checking out all the cool historical sites. Our tour guide, Palesa, was really helpful and patient with us when we got confused about checking in and using the booking system. She even took care of everything for us when we were having trouble with the app. A big thank you to Palesa!
Family trip to Kenya
My family and I recently booked a trip to Kenya and we struggled to complete the booking process. It was really difficult trying to get ahold of one customer service consultant but once I managed to, they provided me with really helpful service. We are very excited about our trip and I just hope I can reach them if need be during the trip.
Puglia holiday booking
I've just got back from a brilliant holiday in Puglia! The hotel was fantastic, the schedule was just right, and our tour guide was the best I've ever had! I loved it so much that I've already booked another trip to Lake Como in October. Big thanks to Lucy and Alison for their help with booking and sorting out an extra room for us. I can't wait to go back to Italy already!
Cruise on the French River
Took a cruise with my sibling from Southampton to Antwerp. It had great leisure facilities and fun activities for us to do together. There was also a wide spread of meal buffets that we all enjoyed. The only downside was paying the UK port taxes where it was collectible. Other than that, we could not have asked for a better experience than seeing the Seine River all the way from Rouen!
Holiday booking
This was the first time I booked a holiday with them, and I have to say, I was really impressed by the customer service I received. The agent, Lorraine, was so knowledgeable and helpful, giving me all the information I needed to make a good choice. She was also really friendly and polite, which made me feel important as a customer. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking to book a holiday.
Andalusia tour with Jude Mahon
We had an absolutely brilliant holiday exploring the historic cities of Andalusia, all thanks to our fantastic tour manager Jude Mahon. He was so cheerful, knowledgeable, and organized, which really made our experience special. The only not-so-great thing was the timing of the Seville trip - it would have been better if it was scheduled later in the week. This way, we could have had more time to rest after our journey and the delays at Malaga airport.
Recent holiday booking
I've just booked a holiday and had a brilliant time with the staff helping me out with online check-in and making sure I got my boarding passes on time. A lady named Bree really went the extra mile to take care of everything I needed when booking. I've had great experiences with the staff here before, so I'll definitely keep booking my holidays with them.
