Porto city break
My recent trip to Porto that I booked through a platform was absolutely amazing. Everything went smoothly from the moment I booked it. The transportation arrangements were perfect, and Porto itself was a lovely city with so much to see and do. The river trip that was part of the package was definitely a highlight, giving me a different view of the city. The accommodation they arranged for me was really comfortable and even better than I expected. And I have to say, the breakfast at a nearby cafe was absolutely fantastic. I have to give credit to the platform for providing such a well-priced city break that went above and beyond what I had hoped for.

Adventure trip to Morocco
We've just got back from a trip to Morocco and it was fantastic. Everything went according to plan, the company was in contact with us from the moment we arrived. We had an incredible 5 days exploring the mountains and desert, but decided to end our trip with a couple of days at a hotel. Although this wasn't part of our original plans, the company was able to find us a great deal at a lovely 5-star hotel. They even arranged for us to be dropped off and picked up from the hotel. We highly recommend them and will definitely travel with them again.

I've just booked a 'Late Summer Booking' for a little trip to Dresden in East Germany. The booking is for 2 nights in July and my mates and I can't wait for our trip. We're really looking forward to it, but I do wish that Secret Escapes had more options for longer stays, particularly for those of us flying to Europe. Luxury hotel stay
During my recent stay at this posh hotel, everything was absolutely amazing! The hotel's surroundings were stunning, and the rooms were huge and really nicely decorated. But, I have to say, I was quite let down by the service from the staff. Our booking stated that we would get a free glass of Prosecco when we arrived, but that never happened. And even when we decided to stay an extra night, we weren't given any extra treats or special things.

I came across an amazing deal on Secret Escapes that I just couldn't resist - the price compared to other hotels was brilliant. I was really excited to book a luxury holiday through their website and had an overall fantastic experience. The holiday itself went off without a hitch, and the accommodation was exactly what I had hoped for. However, my excitement was somewhat dampened when I realised that I had used a cashback website to make my booking, only to once again be let down by Secret Escapes failing to honour the cashback offer. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, and it's frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a holiday and not receive the promised cashback. It's starting to feel like a bit of a sneaky move on Secret Escapes' part, and I really hope they sort this issue out soon.
Hotel booking error
I booked a hotel on this website not too long ago, and I ran into a really annoying problem. When I finished booking, the site said it didn't go through and asked me to do it again. But then I realised to my horror that I had accidentally booked the same hotel for the same night twice. It was a right mess and really inconvenient, plus it could end up costing me extra cash.

One-night stay at Thornbury Castle for Wedding Anniversary
My recent experience with a booking through this service for a one-night stay at Thornbury Castle for my Wedding Anniversary was quite disappointing. The booking was made and confirmed, and I paid the full price. However, to my surprise, the booking was suddenly cancelled shortly after. When I contacted Thornbury Castle directly, they said they had no availability for the date. I was upset to hear that the booking was confirmed and paid for without checking with the venue first. This situation left us without any other plans for our special day. Although we eventually asked for a full refund, it wasn't processed quickly. We had to wait 8 days before checking on the refund, only to find out that it had been credited to our 'Secret Escapes' account, even though we had clearly asked for it to be refunded directly to our bank account. It took a few more days for the refund to reach us. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful, but it's clear that the booking systems need to be reviewed to avoid such disappointments and ensure timely refunds.
Top quality accommodation at amazing value
I found the process really quick and easy, even when using my phone (and believe me, I'm not great with technology)! The selection of places to stay was fantastic and the value for money was incredible. I've used them once before and I'll definitely keep using them as my go-to when planning a getaway.
