- Pool won it for us- roomy living area, a kitchen you actually want to use (we cooked every night), decent air-conditioning and a location that makes lazy beach days and quick shops easy. Mornings were for coffee on the terrace, afternoons for siestas and slow family dinners. Not everything was perfect — the Wi-Fi didn’t work at first and a couple of towels looked tired — but the local rep, Valerie, turned up and sorted it so we could stream the match, which sealed it. Pleasant, reliable, would book again.
- A pleasantly surprised week away- We rocked up late on a Saturday and were half expecting to raid a supermarket at midnight, but there was a proper welcome pack waiting — lifesaver. The house was roomy, a bit old fashioned but pleasantly cool inside, and the bedrooms had air-con which made sleeping possible in that heat. The pool had a shallow shelf where the kids paddled for ages; nice touch. Loads of shaded spots outside to flop in. Best bit was the local contact, Muriel, who answered messages quickly and actually sorted a couple of small things without fuss. Would tell others to check arrival times — saves faff. We had a brilliant time overall, not perfect but close.
- Perfect chaos, perfect sun- a proper family house that feels lived-in, not some show-home hotel room. The layout just works for a gang; there are corners to disappear into and one enormous kitchen where everyone ends up, always. The outside is brilliant — loads of space, a proper BBQ and a wood-fired oven (which we used more than planned, honestly). The pool was a hit with the kids and actually relaxing for us grown-ups too, so that’s a win. You can wander down to town and the beach in a few minutes, pop into a gelateria — yes, we became regulars — and there's enough near-by to explore without faffing about. Our rep, Valerie, was very helpful, gave spot-on tips and came across as genuinely keen for us to have a good time. Slightly emotional to admit it, but we left a bit wistful. All in all, cosy, well-equipped and properly good for a family holiday.
- Nearly didn't book, glad we did- they answered my questions, were easy to reach by phone and clearly knew the property, so we felt we'd made the right choice. Once there the cottage was better than the photos — proper views, a quiet garden and a pool we used daily. The kitchen had everything we needed. John, the local rep, was brilliant: down-to-earth, patient with our questions and full of sensible tips on restaurants and things to do. The boat trip along the south coast was a real highlight and just the kind of day out you'd want. When our son had a minor surfing knock, John sorted the practical side quickly and kept checking we were OK. We're really glad we went — I'd book with Vintage again.
- Quiet villa, noisy experience- they were reluctant to discuss any kind of recompense and refused to accept that a proper security review was needed. The place had no burglar alarm, no safe, no gates, weak outside lighting and no CCTV — locals even called it a “sitting duck”. I’ve dealt with other companies before where incidents were handled properly, so this felt like a step backwards. I’m grateful it didn’t get worse and relieved nobody was injured, but their lack of concern about guest safety put me off. If you care about peace of mind, I’d think twice — we certainly won’t be using them again until they take security and customer service more seriously.
- Mostly reliable, with a few quirks- I’d book with them again, but it wasn’t flawless. I needed a quiet place to recover from a dodgy back and after a couple of poor experiences with other villa companies I wasn’t taking any chances. Vintage Travel did the job — the booking was straightforward and the villa matched the listing, which is a relief when you’re picky about stairs and beds. The local rep turned up when they said they would, knew the area and wasn’t in your face, which I really appreciated. A proper highlight: when my husband realised he’d left some meds at home they sorted a doctor visit quickly and without faff, so that took a huge weight off. The welcome pack was generous, the pool was lovely and the place was spotlessly clean — even the little extras like sun loungers and kitchen kit were there. On the minus side, there were small communication blips before arrival and a towel-change came a bit later than expected once or twice. Also, the owner popped round with pastries which was charming, but felt slightly awkward when we were trying to unpack. Overall, honest, useful service — not perfect, but it worked.
- Villa rental- I recently stayed at Villa Kirki, booked through Vintage Travel, and my experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. The villa was not as advertised, and numerous safety issues were present that made our stay very uncomfortable.
- Family holiday near Martel- Our family had a fantastic time in France! The house was amazing, even better than we thought. The person in charge of the house was really lovely and assisted us with everything we needed. The representative even called to see how we were doing, and the team at the office were extremely helpful when we had questions about the BBQ and ferry. We've booked with this company in the past and will definitely book with them again. They are so reliable and great!
- Clean house, pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis court, rep visit, clear instructions- I stayed in this amazing house with my family and it was incredibly clean. The highlight was definitely having access to a pool, hot tub, sauna, and a tennis court! A representative even popped by to greet us, which was fantastic. Moreover, the directions on how to reach the house, where to locate the keys, and the gate codes were all very straightforward and simple to understand. It made our stay much more enjoyable knowing exactly what to expect.
- North Portugal holiday- I recently booked a holiday to North Portugal through a travel company and I have to say, my experience was absolutely amazing. The team provided top-notch care before my trip. They were so helpful and quick to respond when I had some questions. They even went out of their way to let me know about a potential noise problem near the house I booked. They reassured me that if it became an issue, they would find us another great place to stay. Luckily, there were no noise problems at all and the house was even better than I expected, with a beautiful design and breathtaking surroundings. The location in North Portugal was truly special, and we were blessed with perfect weather the whole time. I will definitely use this travel company again next time.
- A big group of family and buds- Me and my family and friends have just returned from an amazing week relaxing at this awesome villa in Mallorca. The villa was absolutely stunning and had incredible views of the sea. We had such a great time!
- Family holiday accommodation- Vintage Travel's website is really good - it shows exactly what the accommodation is like and gives lots of helpful information about the area. When we stayed at Hacienda Los Olivos near Ronda, it was ideal for our big family, with plenty of things to do like walking, swimming, and playing tennis. Everything was nice and clean, although the downstairs bedrooms might be more suitable for kids or teens. The location was perfect, as Ronda and a Lidl were just a quick drive away. Having someone who knew a lot about the place was definitely a bonus.
- Villa booking for Kefalonia- I had a really disappointing experience with booking a villa in Kefalonia through Vintage Travel. We booked well in advance for a group of eight, but the company cancelled our villa months later. They offered us an alternative villa on the other side of the island, which put us in a tricky situation with few options. The refund process was also a mess - we only got a partial refund at first and were given wrong information about the full refund. When I expressed my frustration and asked for a £100 goodwill gesture, they ignored me and never responded. We had to end up booking a villa through another company, which ended up being unsatisfactory. Overall, I'm really not happy with the service from Vintage Travel.
- Fab Majorca holiday- Oh my gosh, my summer holiday in Majorca was absolutely amazing! Vintage Travel provided us with all the information we needed before we left, tips on navigating airports, and straightforward directions. The guidebook with local information they gave us was incredibly useful, and our host and the person who took care of us during our stay were excellent. I really believe that everyone should consider staying in this villa and booking with this company for their holidays.
- Villa rental experience- I recently rented a villa through this company, and I have to say, I was really impressed. There were so many villas to choose from, and the one we picked was even better than we expected. The communication during the booking was great, they made sure all our questions were answered quickly. When we arrived, we were happy to see that the villa had more facilities than we thought. The owner even showed us around the area, pointing out some great local places to eat, shop, and visit. It really added to our trip.
- Family holiday in Menorca- I recently spent a week with my family in a villa in Menorca and it was a wonderful experience. The villa was absolutely stunning and had amazing views of the beautiful coast. I had asked for a cot and high chair for my baby, and they were all set up and ready for us when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had a problem with the dishwasher, but our rep Tracey was very quick to sort it out for us. We also got a parking ticket during our stay, but Tracey took care of that too without any hassle.
Overall, Vintage provided an excellent service from the moment we booked until the end of our holiday. The staff at the main office were really friendly and helpful, and they kept us well informed throughout the whole booking process. I would definitely recommend Vintage to anyone looking for a stress-free holiday experience.
- Booked a holiday villa online- I've just booked a holiday villa online and it was such good value for money. The best thing was being able to chat with a representative on WhatsApp from the travel company, they were incredibly helpful! The information before the holiday was accurate and everything went really smoothly. I'll definitely use this company again for my next holiday. Cheers!
- Lovely stay in Kefalonia- I had such a lovely time in Kefalonia, staying in this beautiful villa with stunning views and a great pool. It was in a perfect spot, close to Fiskardo with shops and restaurants nearby. The locals were really friendly, the weather mostly behaved, and our rep was brilliant as usual. Vintage Travel made booking super easy and kept us up to date the whole time. The only blip was the unexpected Greek Tourist Tax right at the end.
- Corfu Villa booking- The villa we stayed in with Vintage Travel was absolutely amazing. The views were stunning and the amenities were luxurious, way beyond what we expected. It was the best holiday villa experience we've ever had. Vintage Travel were so professional and made the booking process easy and stress-free. I highly recommend them and will definitely book with them again in the future.
- Villa booking experience- I've been a loyal customer of Vintage Travel for a while now, and I have to say, their website and in-person help are just great. The staff, especially admin and resort rep Stephanie, are so professional. Every time I book a villa holiday in Corfu through Vintage Travel, the properties are always breathtaking. Sophia and Spiros, who take care of the properties, really make a difference in our experience. I appreciate the amazing service from Vintage Travel and their hard-working team.
About Vintage Travel
People go on holidays for different reasons, some go to free themselves from work or family stress, while others go with friends and families to enjoy themselves. A holiday is a day set aside by custom or by law on which normal activities, especially business or work including school, are suspended or reduced. Generally, holidays are intended to allow individuals to celebrate or commemorate an event or tradition of cultural or religious tolerance significance. Holidays may be designated by the government, religious institutions or other groups or organizations. The degree to which normal activities are reduced by a holiday may depend on local laws, customs, the type of job held or personal choices. In most modern societies, holidays, however, serve as much of a recreational function as any other weekend days or activities. The word holiday has differing connotations in different regions. In the United States, for instance, the term “holiday” is used exclusively to offer to the nation, religious or culturally observed day(s) of rest or celebration, or the events themselves, whereas in the united kingdom and other Commonwealth nations, a holiday may refer to the period of time where leave from one's duties has been agreed and is used as a synonym to the US preferred Vacation. Employers and educational institutes may designate holidays themselves which may or may not overlap nationally or culturally relevant dates. Do you want to go on a holiday to see beautiful places either in a group with families or alone? If yes, they may want to consider giving Vintage Travel a try. Potential customers should read unbiased reviews of Vintage Travel left here by people that have had experience with them before considering visiting their website.
