I used them for over eight years and always thought things would be straightforward, but recent experience changed that. A large transfer I set up — with all requested documents supplied — was just left pending for a week. No phone number to call anymore, only a chat that replies whenever it feels like it, which made the whole thing stressful. In the end I asked for a refund and moved the money elsewhere. I did recommend them to mates in the past, and I’m a bit gutted this is how it’s ended. I filed a complaint about handling and service, but got no proper follow-up. Delivery and support need serious improvement. I might even return someday.
Money in limbo, moving day chaos
I'm sat on a box mid-move, needing to send money to my sister for the van, and my new account had just received cash from my folks. Two smaller transfers went through fine, so I relaxed — wrong move. Then they froze about £1,100 and £750 and left another £550 hanging, saying they're "reviewing" it for three days. I answered every question, uploaded every document, but customer service sounded like they were reading from a different planet. Delivery of the transfers stalled, which is the whole point, right? It's not a total disaster — some bits worked — but the slow, vague replies and the holding of money made a stressful week worse. I'm tempted to complain to the FCA, but for now: cautious recommendation.

That said, one rep did take proper time on a call and explained the compliance process clearly — that was a bit of a relief and genuinely helpful. The unexpected positive was how calmly a staff member walked me through what to expect next, which kept me from panicking. Still, having suppliers on hold and payroll looming is stressful. If this isn’t resolved quickly I’ll have to move everything elsewhere. Overall useful service day-to-day but reliability and communication around blocked transfers need to improve.
