Successful Carwow sale
I recently sold my car through Carwow and it turned out to be a pretty successful experience. I ended up getting £1200 more than what the dealer had offered for a trade-in, which was definitely worth it. But, I faced some challenges along the way. I had to stand my ground and stick to my minimum price because I was getting some really low offers initially. It’s important to stay patient and wait for the right price when selling through Carwow.
The dealers typically start with high bids but might try to negotiate on collection and listing details later on. For example, one dealer initially bid £10,700 but later lowered the offer because the service stamp on my car wasn’t dated, even though there was proof of regular servicing. I decided to walk away from the reduced offer on principle and had to list my car again to find a more reliable buyer.
In the end, I managed to sell my car to a trustworthy company in London. The collection and payment process went smoothly and was hassle-free, which was a relief.The first and the best thing one should do before buying a new car

Clutch / Flywheel replacement
Well, I've only done 7000 miles and I'm already having problems trying to get the gears to engage in my car. The dealer said it would be a quick fix, but it turns out the parts needed are on back order because there have been many similar issues. So, it ended up taking a whopping six weeks for the car to be fixed, and they didn't even offer me a courtesy car for work. And to make matters worse, less than 1800 miles later, the exact same problem came back! And it seems I'm not alone - if you just do a quick Google search for 'Car Model Clutch Problems,' you'll see how many others have had the same issue.

I just sold my car through a carwow auction and was happy because I got more money than what I was offered for a part-exchange. But, I didn't like how the dealer tried to push me into lowering the price even more during the collection. It wasn't a nice experience, especially as a female customer. So, I wouldn't suggest using this service because of that.
