    Rental uncertainty

    The car rental prices at this company seem pretty good, but the lack of information about which agency and where I'll be picking up the car is a big downside. It makes me quite anxious not knowing these details. Also, having to pay when I pick up the car instead of in advance is a bit unsettling.     I recently booked a car for my trip at LaGuardia airport a few months ahead of time. The original price was quite good compared to other big rental companies. But then, just two days before my journey, I stumbled upon an even better deal on their website. So, I decided to give customer service a quick call to see if I could cancel my original reservation and book at the new lower rate.

    The guy I spoke to, Bilol, not only matched the lower price but actually found me an even better deal with the same major rental company. I was really impressed with the level of customer service and how they were so helpful in finding the best option for me. Wise Cars quickly sorted out a refund for the price difference, and I will definitely be using their services for my future car rentals.

    This company is a nightmare to deal with. I booked a rental car for a holiday weekend and they not only overbooked the reservations, but they also failed to give me the car I booked. I had to come back multiple times, only to be turned away with no rental available. The manager at the rental company confirmed that Wisecars has a bad reputation for overbooking. Now, they won't refund my money without "confirmation", even though the manager already confirmed that no car was available for me. This company is a scam and I urge everyone to avoid them.

    Electric car rental refusal

    I arranged to hire a car from Wisecars for a specific location, but when I got there they said they only had electric cars left. Obviously, I didn't want an electric one so I asked for my money back. Wisecars said they needed a document from the rental company proving they had no other cars before they could refund me. Even though HERTZ didn't give me that document, Wisecars still haven't given me back my money. It seems like a dodgy situation between the rental company and Wisecars, and now I'm feeling annoyed and out of pocket. I've had to make a complaint to try and sort this out.

    I had to ring up the customer service team at Wisecars recently because my age wasn't in the right range on the website until after I'd paid. Hazel, the lady I spoke to, was really patient and helpful. She found my booking quickly and changed it to show my real age. The best bit was, this ended up lowering the fee a bit, which was a nice surprise! I appreciate Hazel for being so professional and going the extra mile to make sure my reservation was right. She even shared some handy tips on picking up my car at Sea-Tac airport.

    Flight changes affecting car rental

    Our plans changed unexpectedly, so we had to rearrange our car rental times with the company. It was a bit tricky because the prices kept changing. But the customer service team, especially Emanoel and Markus, were brilliant. Emanoel took the time to walk us through all our choices and even sent us an email with more information. Later on, Markus helped us cancel our old booking and make a new one, with just a small increase in price. His tips about the shuttles at Denver airport were really helpful too.

    I hadn't heard of this car rental place before, but I'm really glad I booked with them. I accidentally booked at the wrong airport, but they let me change it with no issues. Bilal was really nice and helped me out. Everything went smoothly even though my flight was delayed.
