Coming back to the cars was the low point of a long trip. We use off-airport parking fairly often because it’s handy for weekends away, but this time three cars returned in a sorry state — filthy, one with visible scrapes — and that’s what you notice first, the immediate physical mess. I accept small chips, mud and wear, but the scratches looked fresh and the interiors had dead flies and crumbs everywhere, which meant extra time cleaning before handing them over to family. I’d phoned ahead to change our collection time and was told it was sorted, so turning up earlier shouldn’t have been an issue. It wasn’t. There was nobody to meet us for a long time and when someone did appear they wanted an extra fee per person because of “the change” — despite the call. The person on duty was abrupt, made an offhand remark that felt dismissive and unnecessary, and didn’t bother to check the cameras when we asked. On the plus side, we did get the cars back the same day and nothing catastrophic was missing, so the basic service works; it’s just rough around the edges. I’ll think twice before using them again, and I’d recommend checking all the details in writing and taking photos on arrival if you go, because otherwise you’ll be sorting out dirt and dents on your own.

If you’re thinking of using them, double-check the location and take screenshots of your chats. And don’t rely on phone calls at busy times. All in all, I’m mildly reassured by the later response, but still a bit wary.
