Rental car in New York branch
We rented a car from the New York branch and had it for 7 days, using it for our everyday driving. However, on the 7th day, the battery died while we were on the highway, leaving us stranded. We had to arrange for the car to be towed, but to our disappointment, we had to foot the bill for the tow ourselves. It was really disappointing service all round.
Car rental booking
My experience with booking a car rental through Flexible Autos was really disappointing and frustrating. I had booked a holiday package with a company I'd used before, but this time it was far from satisfactory. I arrived in Mallorca late at night and ended up having to wait in a queue for 2 hours, along with others who were getting pretty fed up. The car rental company, which was arranged through Flexible Autos, was Record Go, and honestly, it seemed like a bit of a scam. We ended up being charged over 100% more than the initial price we were quoted, even though we were told there wouldn't be any extra fees by the holiday package company. By the time we tried to get a car from another rental company, they were all sold out by midnight, so it was a really disappointing start to what was supposed to be a fantastic holiday. I'd definitely advise against using that holiday package company, the car rental service from Flexible Autos, and especially steer clear of Record Go.
