not great at first, but I eventually got a refund after a hassle. I bought a tailgate support strut for my pickup and fitted it in late autumn — looked fine out the box, snug and all that. Within three months it rusted and failed. It was within warranty, but they only wanted to send the same cheap replacement, which felt pointless; by law I could have asked for a refund. Customer service was slow and a bit brusque, prices felt high for the quality. After several emails they did refund me, so mixed feelings.
Sorted, mostly
I wasn’t expecting much when a garage rang to say the bonnet strut was bent, but I’d seen 4x4 Predator and a mate recommended them, so I messaged late on Friday. They replied first thing Monday asking for photos and details — I sent them that afternoon. As soon as they had the info they despatched a replacement. That’s when I felt satisfied. Not perfect — packaging was a bit rough and a small delay with one email — but it worked quickly and without fuss.

Weekend lights drama
endless emails, photos, repeating the same details. I did appreciate that eventually a courier was sent to collect them; that bit was quick and tidy and I’m grateful for that, honestly. I even took half a day’s leave to be there for the pick-up. Then they refunded me instead of sending a fresh set, which felt odd but at least I got my money back. When the order was reprocessed and a new pair arrived I found, to my disbelief, they were clearly used — corroded pins, road grime on the plugs. That was the low point. I sent pictures and was told the items come from a third party so they don’t check them. So now I’m back at square one, asked to return them and start again. In the end the lights are in the bin and I’m left a bit annoyed but also kind of relieved it wasn’t more of a faff.
