"Recently, I noticed a persistent knocking sound from the suspension of my Volkswagen Golf when driving over uneven ground. It was especially noticeable at low speeds. A quick check revealed that the stabiliser links were shot, so I ordered some new ones from AUTODOC straight away.
The parts arrived in great condition the dust boots were intact, the threads were clean, and the joints were nice and tight. When I took the old links off and compared them to the new ones, the wear was obvious the old ones were completely worn out. After fitting the new parts, the knocking has totally disappeared, and the suspension is nice and quiet again"Audi A3
I ordered some parts for my Audi A3 2017. Finding the right item in the catalogue only took a couple of clicks, and the compatibility was spot on everything fit like a glove. I was pleased that the order was processed so promptly, and the part itself exactly matched the description and photos on the site. It’s a solid shop with consistent quality... I’m very happy with the purchase
Tires
I’m pleasantly surprised with Autodoc the delivery is noticeably nippier than it was last year. A massive thanks to the team for such progress... it makes ordering so much more convenient now.
Sceptical but pleasantly surprised
I half expected to get a parcel full of mystery bits when the box from Germany turned up, but it was fine. Before ordering I had doubts — what if parts don't fit, what if they're cheap? I'd had one dodgy new part before, so was cautious. The first order did arrive with a dud part, out the box faulty, but customer service sent a replacement right away, no faff, which calmed me down. Delivery's slowish — about a week to the UK — so plan ahead; I always order before starting a job. Prices are better than my local parts shop and there's a decent choice of makers, so I can pick a German-made item rather than whatever's on the shelf. I use these parts for routine servicing and small DIY fixes on my daily car — oil changes and filters. Slightly anxious at first, but relieved. Works well and saves money, don't expect next-day miracles.
My old 407
My old 407 is still running great but I was so tired of propping up the hood with a piece of wood every time I checked the oil. I ordered some new struts from Autodoc, not really expecting a miracle given the low price, but surprisingly everything works perfectly after the install also I have to mention that the shipping was really fast ordered them on Tuesday and they were at my door by Thursday evening
I placed an order at Autodoc
I placed an order at Autodoc, the delivery was fast and took only 3 days. I ordered a turbocharger for a Volkswagen, the workshop installed everything, and no defects in the part were found.
Mid-fit surprise
Halfway through fitting the new brake pads I realised they'd arrived next day — proper quick. Parts are decent, not flawless though; a tiny scuff on a bracket. I'd still use them, but check packaging before fitting.
Parts that actually fit
one parcel was a bit delayed, but overall it works fine for me.
Battery buying went sideways
I spotted it on a motoring forum and ordered after my mate said it was a bargain. Delivery was awkward — courier apparently 'doesn't ship batteries' yet here we are, a badly wrapped, leaking box. Customer service shrugged; I'm now chasing a refund and feeling a bit miffed.
Back to square one with a dodgy mirror
courier promised twice and didn’t show. Felt like they didn’t care about accessibility. Bit annoyed, a lesson learned.
Pretty smooth ordering, shaky delivery
wrong address once, times changed loads, so still annoying.
Same wrong parts, again
You order the correct parts and still get bits that don’t fit. I’ve sent items back twice and each time they returned exactly the same wrong parts. Now three cycles and it’s been 21 days with no proper replacement. A slip-up happens, sure, but not repeatedly in the same order. Feels like nobody’s checking the returns. If you can, phone first or pick somewhere else.
Right call in the end
I've got a morning routine — school run, then straight to work — and when the new brake pads arrived I actually relaxed for the first time. They fitted nicely, stopped that annoying squeal and the pedal felt firmer within an hour. I didn't expect much from an online order, but that moment when the car sounded normal again told me it was worth it. Customer replies were slow, delivery took longer than hoped, but the part works.
Wrong fit, right speed
It’s odd — the part actually arrived really quickly, which made me happy at first. I only got to try and fit it after the garage could see me, which was four weeks later, and they immediately said it wasn’t the right compressor despite Autodoc’s selection. Tried to send it back but the returns policy shut that down, so I’m stuck with an unused item and a hole in the wallet. Bit frustrating, a shame because delivery was spot on. Honestly, could’ve been handled better. I’m still annoyed.
Replacing a worn front tie rod to fix steering vibration
While driving, I started to notice vibration in the steering wheel, especially at higher speeds. At first, I thought the issue was with the wheels, but after an inspection it turned out that the play was coming from one of the front tie rods. I decided to replace it and ordered the necessary part from Autodoc, where I usually buy my car parts. There were no problems with the order.
The part arrived without any damage, the dust boot was intact, the thread was clean, and there was no play. I compared it with the old one, and it was clear that the old tie rod was already significantly worn and loose.
The replacement didn’t take long. After installing the new part, the vibration completely disappeared, the steering became more precise, and the car holds the road much better.Bit of a faff with delivery
Strange start — I needed a part for the car and ordered from them because I thought a bigger seller would be safer. Took over three weeks to show up, and when it did the part had factory damage. They wouldn't allow pickup, so I had to go to the logistics centre and wait. I rang customer service and got different answers each time. I only started using the part straight away; it actually does the job, even if the fit wasn't perfect. Not terrible, but lots of hassle and inconsistent support.
Two-and-a-half hours wasted
I only needed a tiny brake part for my car — just a simple pad — because my lower back's been playing up and I couldn't be crawling under the axle during a move. They sent the wrong item, and then I spent ages (like two and a half hours) on the phone with different people. It felt like no one was listening, repeating themselves, forgetting the conversation every 30 seconds. They even tried to charge me for their mistake. Website photos didn't match what turned up, and delivery was late. Oddly, the correct part did work perfectly once it finally arrived, so that was a relief, sort of.
Halfway through the fix
snug fit, no weird rattles, and even a spare clip tucked in the box that saved me a trip to the shop. Communication was patchy and slow, but the end result was better than I feared — good kit, messy process.
Good Experience, but Delivery Could Be Faster
I ordered brake pads and discs for my Honda Civic. I would have liked the delivery to be faster, but overall the items arrived in 4 days. I placed the order on November 12th, and it arrived on November 16th, with no issues. Everything was installed at the service center without any difficulties. The quality of the parts was completely satisfactory, and everything works as expected. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, though I would have liked the delivery process to be a bit quicker.
Flywheel and brake pads
I ordered a flywheel and brake pads on October 29th on the Autodoc website, and I was very satisfied. The website is easy to use.
The order was processed quickly and delivery took less than a week. Everything arrived well packaged and in perfect condition.
The parts are top-notch, they're the real deal that fit like a glove and go in without a hitch. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the regular discounts and promotions.
I'll definitely order from Autodoc again, and I'd recommend this website to anyone looking for a reliable online auto parts store.
