I saw the Einhill 550mm on a bargain site after a neighbour recommended it, and I ordered. It arrived in a bare box and the first test was a disaster — far too loud, my tinnitus kicked off. I packed it back (original packaging, or so I thought) and sent it by courier. Relief hit when the courier took it — I felt glad to be rid of it — but it didn't last. Emails later said the return box was damaged, so no refund unless I paid postage to get it back. As a pensioner, losing £67 stung. I told my mate to steer clear. Bit gutting, really.
Pretty painless, actually
I first spotted the scarifier shoved in my mate Tom's shed — he’d raved about it and told me where to buy. Ordering from Tooled-Up was dead easy and the parcel arrived sooner than I’d expected. I only opened it a couple of days later and noticed one small washer was missing. Slight annoyance, but the moment I knew I was properly satisfied was when I phoned them and they sorted it straight away — sent a washer plus a spare and kept me posted by email. They were calm, helpful and not faffing about. The tool works well too. Bit of a hiccup, but handled nicely. Glad I listened to Tom.
Halfway through cleaning
Right in the middle of a stubborn scuff I realised the Bosch brush wasn't doing the job. The ordering and delivery were straightforward — arrived quickly and someone actually answered my query, which is rare these days. The brush set itself felt a bit cheap. The 'melamine' pad is spongy, not solid foam, and I ended up paying another £10 for extra pieces; the discs turned into soft white sponge after a couple of uses and were basically useless for proper scrubbing. Oddly, the seller's response was decent and the price fair, but grab proper magic erasers from a DIY shop instead — they actually worked as you'd expect.

Surprised in a good way
Took me by surprise — ordered a battery chainsaw late, it turned up next day with a couple of freebies. Customer service was helpful too. Will use them again, honestly.
Spare sorted quickly
Worked well, glad it arrived quickly — only wanted the mower, not charger or battery. Spotted Tooled-up on Google after a quick search, saved me a faff.
