I first tried Goddiva when I needed something for a last-minute dinner and, honestly, expected the usual “looks nicer online” situation. Nope. The dress arrived quickly and the little gold thread through the floral fabric caught the light without making me look like a Christmas decoration, which was a relief. It felt properly lined too, not flimsy or scratchy, and the fit was surprisingly good straight out of the packet. I did have to stand in front of the mirror for ages, mainly because I couldn’t decide on shoes. Their emails were helpful and not overly pushy. For the price, it felt like a bit of a bargain.
