First impressions spoiled by poor delivery
I actually first saw this serum tucked on a mate’s shelf (she’d raved about it) and then tried a sample in-store — lovely texture, sunk in nicely, not greasy, and the scent was subtle enough that I didn’t mind wearing it. So I went ahead and ordered online from Spain for about €240, mainly because I trusted the brand and my friend’s tip. Then the delivery went sideways. The courier admitted in messages they’d left the parcel in the wrong spot, and a few days later the order status flipped to “delivered” using my NIE, though I never had the box. Contacted customer service and they said they’d “investigated” and closed the complaint because the courier marked it so. No refund, no replacement, just a shrug. It’s annoying because the product itself seemed to do what I wanted when I sampled it, and I’m glad that part was fine — shame the logistics and follow-up didn’t match up. I’ll be filing a formal complaint and asking my bank for a chargeback.
Quiet visit, odd service
I was halfway down the fragrance aisle when I realised I’d almost talked myself out of buying anything. I’d gone in planning to spend a fair amount — I buy perfumes regularly — but the staff were clustered by the tills, chatting, laughing, and nobody came over to offer help. The shop wasn’t busy, so it just felt inattentive and a bit dismissive. I hesitated, compared two bottles more times than necessary and wondered whether to leave. In the end I bought one; the cashier was polite and efficient, so that part worked fine. The scent and packaging seem fine, no complaints there, but I left with a nagging doubt about keeping it. It wasn’t rude behaviour, more like not bothering to engage customers. I’ll probably return to other branches where the staff are more on the ball. A simple “can I help you?” would have changed everything — tiny fix, big difference.
A reassuring bit of customer care
they decided to send a replacement even without the courier proof. That small decision mattered more than I expected. I use their products in my daily routine to feel a bit normal during chaotic days, so getting that parcel replaced made a real difference. The whole exchange was calm and professional, not overblown, and it honestly felt like someone cared rather than just ticking boxes. Not saying delivery was flawless — the courier mix-up was frustrating — but I’m grateful for the integrity and for being treated properly when things went wrong. Would happily shop again.
