useful site but dodgy on discounts. I started using it a few weeks ago for bits and pieces and liked the range and how quick the parcel turned up. First impression was positive, until I realised prices spike then a "20–30% off" sale appears — feels like smoke and mirrors. So I still shop there, just watch prices and compare.
Late-night rescue
Late night after moving, back aching, needed a decent bottle to take the edge off. Ordered Italian wine on 24 January, it turned up via FedEx on 29th — tracking was clear. No extra taxes, much cheaper than UK. Site a bit clunky, but customer service helpful, very pleased.
Finally reliable wines
no excuses about Black Friday, they stuck to the delivery date and even told me when one bottle was out of stock and would be sent ASAP. In the end it arrived with the rest, which was handy. I use the wine for midweek dinners and weekend guests, and the smaller spirits range is useful. Properly pleased, and I've recommended them to mates.
Nearly didn't risk it, glad I did
they shipped faster than I expected and the boxes arrived the day before, bottles intact and even a little tasting note tucked in. Still wary of banners, but really glad I ordered, would try again.
